Sam has vibranium SUIT + Vibranium WINGS + Vibranium SHIELD + Adamantium also inside this movie (according to rumors). All these enhancements with such powerful materials are STRONGER than Ironman's Hulkbuster armor which had NO vibranium and NO Adamantium yet Tony Stark used that to defeat an ENRAGED Hulk in Avengers 2: Age of Ultron including cracking Hulk's jaw and even tanked some hits from Hulk AND knocked a tooth out of Hulk's mouth. With those upgrades (vibranium + possible adamantium), Sam has a better chance fighting any Hulk in a dragged out combat against Red Hulk/ RULK as long as he fights smart and tactical just long enough for Sam and/or bis colleagues to to find a way to incapacitate Red Hulk/ Rulk. They have shown u how Sam's wings and suit and shield TANKING multiple direct missiles hits without flinching and NO DAMAGE. Sam is shown using that vibranium enhancements to move FASTER THAN SOUND and TANKING sonic boom. Trailer also shows the wings can be used offensively to cut/ slice stuff like he did to the burning vehicle. They are not showing us all that in the trailer by accident.

(2) And yes using Hulk as a barometer is logical since this New Cap movie is set within the exact same universe and same continuity. (3) Black Widow was almost killed im Avengers 1 by Hulk. She did not defeat Hulk in that movie. (4) Different types of Poems, songs and music are renown a calming effect which helps Hulk reduce his rage and in the process reverts back to Banner BECAUSE BANNER AND BLACK WIDOW were in a relationship. If anything Thanos saved Bruce because in Thor Ragnarok Bruce literally says if he changes to hulk again he may never change back. So now the shoes on the other foot basically. But yea hulk had enough after that fact, not prior.

The modern day parts of Eternals takes place after Endgame. Ajak references this in the film - how the people of Earth were able to revive half of the universe with a snap of their fingers. Dane Whitman also asks Sersi why the Eternals didn't help fight Thanos - because they were instructed not to interfere with any human conflict. Also, the entire movie's plot revolves around the Blip being a massive spike in energy source that causes the birth of Tiamut. So yeah, the remains of Tiamut emerging out of the Earth (which I think might now be called Tiamut Island) has been there for a while now. The only other time it's been brought up in the MCU is an easter egg in She-Hulk where you can see a news article on her computer about Tiamut.

Thanos sword was made from Uru metal or however its spelled... which is canonically stronger than Vibranium. Thats why he was able to break it. Technically Thor's axe could break the shield as well. Made from the same metal.

Thanos also had the Power Stone when he fought the Hulk. Having an ultimate source of power itself does make a huge difference. It's possible that he isn't normally stronger than the Hulk but the Power Stone made the difference just like it did with Captain Marvel.

Thanos is literally half-eternal. And in the movie, you'll notice he never beats Hulk directly in a contest of strength, but rather switches to martial arts as soon as he realizes he is outmatched in strength. It is, but we also know why they all have them. Most of the time they want the star actor's face to show since that's the character you're supposed to connect with (plus they probably paid them a lot of money based on reputation so movie execs don't want them hidden). Same reason doctors in movies don't always wear masks even during surgery. Other times you want it to be easier to hide the stunt double. "Nanotech" lets them take helmets off and on without affecting hair or make-up.

Seems likely that this trailer (and the previous one) would've been VERY different if William Hurt hadn't passed away and went on to play Ross in this. Marvel almost certainly would've kept back the reveal of Ross being Red Hulk as most non-Marvel-fans wouldn't have seen it coming. We essentially saw Cap vs Hulk in the Incredible Hulk. Blonsky didn't have the shield though. It's debatable whether or not Thanos used the Power Stone against Hulk.
