I mean Marvel did him dirty after Winter Soldier cause the dude was forgotten character... They didn't even use him for almost anything important... The dude was meant to be the next Captain America but instead they gave it to the guy who doesn't shut up 😂😂 but it's ok he'll be the weakest Captain America unless he takes the super soldier serum but he refused the first time so I doubt he'll have another chance... Bucky Barnes is as gud as Captain America and would've been better fit ofcoarse after his recovery since Bucky was Steve Roger's best friend ... I mean Bucky was mind controlled and did bad things while under that control. Sentry has a different personality that takes over and causes him to do bad things. They're way more similar than US Agent and Sentry.

In Captain America: The First Avenger, the serum made Steve stronger but the gamma rays from Stark made him bigger, not the serum. One of them says "Gamma rays for muscle growth." So steve would have been stronger regardless but by bombarding him with gamma rays he also got larger muscles. You could make the argument that the serum increases the base strength by a 10x so to give steve the most strength as possible, increase his size too. If I remember correctly too, General Ross said they had Banner researching the serum with Gamma because they thought it would unlock the secret to Captain America. So the Hulk is a result of too much Gamma and a derivative of the serum. And Blonksy didn't become abomination until the Leader gave him a Hulk derivative. Also this is why the group in Falcon/Winter Soldier didn't get bigger with the serum. No Gamma Rays.

I heard that one of the reasons Thunderbolts has an asterisk is for real world legal reasons with Universal. Basically Marvel had to clarify the group’s name doesn’t come from Thunderbolt Ross so that Universal can’t block the distribution of the movie. If it was named after him, Universal would have control over distribution due to Ross being part of the Hulk property.

So the Thunderbolts get their name from the character Citizen V, secretly Baron Zemo in disguise, he tells the press it comes from the Thomas Randolph poem 'justice like lightning' "Justice, like lighting, ever should appear / To few men ruin, but to all men fear. Our hope is that we can be that lightning--that justice." But he later reveals the name is an allusion to his time during ww2, specifically the blitzkrieg, and his connections to hydra/nazism.

My theory is that they set up Fantastic 4 and Alternate Universe Avengers against Dr. Doom before the Secret Wars movie that combines both Universes. (Imagine two Avengers teams forced to fight against each other to rescue their universe.) I also wish that we get a Deadpool Secret Secret Wars movie. 😂😂😂 In addition to Doom I would love to see Jeff Goldblum return as the Grandmaster to organize the Secret Wars game. Or maybe introducing the Beyonder. So many possibilities when you look at the comic origins. To be honest, the fact that they dropped the Kang Dynasty storyline and went with Doom got me really excited about the MCU again. Even though I am still not sure what I think about RDJ playing him. Oh, and introducing Spider-Man fusing with the Venom Symbiote during Secret Wars. I would love that so much. Pretty please Marvel. And when he realizes that the Symbiote isn’t good for him then it can go over to Flash or Scorpion like in the comics. Enough time could have passed that Flash joined the military after school to become Agent Venom then. (Maybe even only a MCU Venom character that is disconnected from the Sony universe.)

I'm still a bit confused, yet interested to see, how Bucky fits into these events... So we see him argue with Val and we see him going to a hearing or some official government thing, but how and why would he get involved with the group of characters... I really doubt they are going to make him be someone that already works with Val, I don't think it would fit his character arc at all to be one of Val's "hired assassins"; so what?... Maybe after shit his the fan with "our characters" and they figure out that Val wants them dead they try to look for some sort of help or guidance and that's when they contact Bucky? Maybe it's Walker who brings up Bucky and the idea of asking for his help given all of his experience and perhaps his current status as someone that can maybe get close to Val... One of the things I'm most exited about, and I'm really hoping with every fiver of my being they don't overlook or drop the ball on it, it's the reaction that Red Guardian and Yelena SHOULD HAVE towards meeting Bucky... THEY NEED to create some cool story context of how Red Guardian knew about the Winter Soldier, maybe looked up to him, maybe the opposite and he was jealous of him being the #1 soviet super soldier... And of course Yelena's reaction; they need to adapt some of the cool connections between the Black Widow program and the Winter Soldier that exist on some of the comics... I know Yelena isn't THAT old and trying to match the years where they both would be "operational" could be quite tricky (or perhaps even impossible), but I would love a story where at some point the widows and yelena specifically had some contact with the winter soldier, maybe a joined mission, maybe they brought him in to train the widows how to go against a far stronger and experienced fighter... IDK, something; at the very least they need to make it that they are both well aware about Bucky and show some sort of intense response to meeting him... Put some respect on my boy 🤣

Originally it was supposed to be the thunderbolts with the deadpool logo in for the "o" when marvel announced it years ago before they pulled everything .....but with deadpool 3 that means that's how they can add Electra with TVA pulling her from the void. Did anyone else read the Dark Avengers run where the Sentry got his powers because he broke into Norman Osborne’s lab while looking for drugs to inject because he was detoxing? That’s the Sentry I want to see. And the Void talked to both he AND was the actual personality behind the Green Goblin. And it was also made very clear that The Void is literally Yahweh from the Bible and they show how he was responsible for the plagues on Egypt. I think I read it in 2016 or 2017 and it couldn’t have been that old. Osborne became president or something if I remember right. And Dakine, Wolverines son was part of the crew

Unless he's nerfed to hell, Sentry has no place in the next two Avengers films. If he is nerfed, there'd be no point in him showing up apart from having his Captain Marvel Endgame moment which adds nothing. I really liked the original Sentry run back in the days with his origins beeing connected to the early days of marvel. It also was clearly inspired by Alan Moores Miracle Man run. The MCU essentially used the "the world forgot about hero XY" plot divice from this first Sentry run for No way home. I don´t know if I like this new approach to the character. If they do him justice it should be a psychological thriller not the usual MCU joke fest

Hmm.... I keep wondering if they are going to use Bob's original origin from the comics, I kinda hope they won't, because it'd be kind of weird to have a corpse of a drug addict possessed by the literal biblical angel of death running around.

That's not what he is lol. That was his reality warping messing with things. 2005 Sentry comic breaks it down. Bob is both The Sentry and The Void. The Sentry is what Bob envisions as the "perfect hero" and The Void is Bob's dark and repressed emotions and thoughts. His mind fractured when he drank the Golden Sentry Serum, but they're all the same guy, not the Angel of Death.

Exited for this. Love to see bucky, I'm wondering if his arm has more surprises up it's sleeve than the demounting thing he didn't know about in the series. I hope they succeed with these more broken and shady characters.

Being a super soldier has become meaningless. Bucky ended up as just a dude with a useless metal arm and a big gun. And, Captain America is now just an ordinary guy in Spandex with silly wings and the shield. But, he can still manage to do all the Captain America stuff. Somehow.
