It was observed simultaneously in two places because it was radio waves. When looking at the data of events that are considered to be gravitational waves, in most cases, there is an earthquake nearby.
@mcnaugha21 күн бұрын
They conveniently found gamma ray emissions from at least one of the sources at the right amount of time to claim the speed of gravity must be close to or equal to the speed of light. I would have thought that what they’re detecting is the merger of plasmoids. Everywhere they think there is a black hole, neutron star or magnetar is actually a plasmoid. Ones that obviously vary in charge density and magnitude. These things merge and a burst of electromagnetic waves isn’t exactly a surprise.

Did anyone ever think to ask him for a follow-up piece when the gravitational waves and simultaneous EM signature was received from the binary neutron star merger in 2017? How did he explain that? How did it affect his silly claim that gravity acts instantaneously (lol)? He didn't even try. He just ignored it because it showed him to be wrong. To the surprise of nobody. Just as he did with a piece he wrote on the then upcoming mission to the comet Hartley 2 in 2010. All the usual impossible nonsense about comets, but not a peep from him when the main news from that mission, a literal snowstorm of ice around the comet, was reported. It didn't fit his narrative, so he just ignored it. And then his non-existent electrical flash (lol) at Tempel 1 in 2005. Pretended that it happened, when he knew damned well that it didn't. So, don't you think it is amusing that people fall for such nonsense, when a few minutes research would show it to be trivially wrong?

@ actually, Einstein’s model was wrong even on a fundamental level. Remember, the whole idea was to get away from the idea of faster than light speed propagation. If gravity was a force that propagated at the speed of light, there would be the orbital aberration problem. So, Einstein envisioned a curvature of space, which was instantaneous. So, no such thing as gravity waves then, because waves propagate. This is the problem. Much like two balls in a ball pit are not entangled directly, two atomic particles are not entangled directly. Although, the position of one ball will translate through the entire ball pit and influence all the other balls including the balls on the furthest extremities of the pit. To expand the idea, the position of every ball in the pit will actually change the dynamics of the entire atmosphere in the room and that will be reflected around the room because the energy is mostly contained in that room. Some small vibrations will translate through the structure and out into the world. So however tiny the influence, every movement of a ball in that pit will influence everything. The signal is an energy displacement and oscillation that travels through mediums. The signal frequency is exactly determined by the physical dimensions of matter and what frequency will scale to fit those dimensions with smooth continuous wave forms. There are specific intervals that resonate and those frequencies will propagate. As mass increases the frequency is lower and the amplitude larger. Entanglement is a messy term for the harmonics and resonance of actual matter. Which is actually full of cymatic patterns and order. Transverse waves an over simplification of three dimensional vortex oscillations. Wave superposition is the so called third state of bits being both on and off at the same time. It is not possible to isolate these bits from external fields. Because all matter is intrinsically bound by and itself a source of fields. All matter can be reduced to hydrogen and the sub-components of hydrogen which are positive and negatively charged particles. Those particles generate fields and those fields are everything in physics.

@4:55 Indeed, Einstein didn't understand gravity. That's why he proposed 2 different scenarios after astronomers discovered galaxies were moving away from us in every direction. He proposed that if the effects of gravity were not infinite, then after a big bang the universe would expand at a cosmological constant. The furthest galaxies would not be affected by gravity and continue moving away from us at a constant velocity. He said if the effects of gravity were infinite, then he proposed the furthest galaxies would be slowing down, come to a halt then reverse directions and eventually the universe would end in what he called the big crunch. Edwin Hubble studying the motion of galaxies discovered galaxies were not only moving away from us in every direction, but the further the galaxy, the faster it was moving away. Proving both of Einstein's ideas about gravity to be wrong, his cosmological constant and his big crunch. Einstein also predicted what's known as look back time where because of the speed of light, big bang and the age of the universe that telescopes would be able to see back into the universe's past the further and more sensitive the telescope. Recently the JWST proved that idea wrong too when it measured old, not young but old, fully mature galaxies further than a light distance of 14 billion light years away. Einstein's equations also predicted that nothing, not even light is able to escape the gravity of a black hole, and gravitational lensing of light. In 1919 Arthur Eddington claims he measured the light of a distant star to be located in a different spot during a total solar eclipse and said it was evidence of Einstein's gravitational lensing of light. Yet no other scientist confirmed his claim. I've tried to repeat his experiment during the 2022 total solar eclipse and was unable to see any stars beyond the sun and moon conjunction because the sun's corona ring around the moon was way too bright to see distant dim stars. Which made me believe Eddington lied to get recognition. Search the internet for images of total solar eclipses and you won't find a single image showing stars behind the diamond ring effect or umbra where the sun's corona shines brightly around the moon. Eddington basically lied. Stars cannot be measured during a total solar eclipse. Einstein didn't even know what was causing gravity. sure his and Newton's equations perfectly describe the orbits, trajectories and motion of planets and other small bodies orbiting the sun, but they never addressed the action causing gravity because they didn't know. There is a simple experiment that can be done to determine if gravitational waves are the result of black holes colliding. Simply go through the radio telescope data and look for an electromagnetic event that occurred at the same moment and location of the gravitational wave detected by LIGO. If the gravitational waves were produced by a pair of black holes colliding, because nothing can escape them then they would not produce an electromagnetic signature. EM waves are light. Light is not supposed to be able to escape one black hole, let along the mass of two colliding. I wrote to NASA astronomers in 2015 after LIGO measured the first GW. I suggested they go over the radio telescope and look for an EM signature at the same time and location of the GW. I told them if it was a pair of black hole colliding it would not produce the EM signature. If it wasn't a pair of black holes colliding it would produce the EM signature. A week or so went by and they confirmed, at the same moment and location where the GW occurred they discovered an EM signature and then was required to downplay the event as a pair of neutron stars colliding, not black holes. I'm willing to bet, every time a GW is measured, an EM signature accompanies it, indicating black holes colliding are not causing the GWs they're measuring. Some other electromagnetic event is causing the so called GWs. Even today, scientists and new articles continue to claim the first GW discovered in 2015 was from a pair of black holes colliding. They refuse to accept the data from radio telescopes proving otherwise.

If Einstein knew back in 1905 what we have discovered during the space age with satellite technology; the plethora of electromagnetic phenomena, he, as an etherian, would not have written GR based on a hypothetical spacetime matrix.

Black holes are based on a mathematical misconception. Einstein wrote in 1939 - "The essential result of this investigation is a clear understanding as to why the Schwarzchild singularities (he was the first to raise the issue of General Relativity predicting singularities) do not exist in physical reality. Although the theory given here treats only clusters (star); whose particles move along circular paths it does seem to be subject to reasonable doubt that more general cases will have analogous results. The Schwarzchild singularities do not appear for the reason that matter cannot be concentrated arbitrarily. And this is due to the fact that otherwise the constituting particles would reach the velocity of light." He was referring to dilation. It's the phenomenon our high school teachers were talking about when they said "mass becomes infinite at the speed of light". This does not mean mass increases, it means mass becomes spread throughout spacetime relative to an outside observer. Time dilation is just one aspect of dilation. Even mass that exists at 75% light speed is partially dilated. It occurs wherever there is an astronomical quantity of mass, this includes the centers of high mass stars and the majority of galaxy centers. Dilation is occurring in our own galactic center. This means that there is no valid XYZ coordinate we can attribute to it, you can't point your finger at something that is smeared through spacetime. In other words that mass is all around us. It's the "missing mass" needed to explain galaxy rotation curves. It doesn't occur in galaxies with low mass centers because they do not have enough mass to achieve relativistic velocities. It has recently been confirmed in 6 ultra diffuse galaxies including NGC 1052-DF2 and DF4 to have normal rotation rates, in other words they have no dark matter/dilated mass.

@@physicswithpark3r-x3x The laws of physics didn't change when Einstein died. Relativity does not predict singularities when dilation is factored in. There is no Schwarzchild radius according to Schwarzchild. He was publicly corrected multiple times and knew he was wrong. Penrose made the same mistake. The recent discovery that very low mass galaxies have predictable star rotation rates is confirmation Einstein was correct. It can be inferred mathematically that dilation is not occurring in these galaxies.

@@hollaadieewaldfeee I have been studying physics since before you were born most likely. Everything I said is correct. Time dilation is just one aspect of dilation, it's not just time that gets dilated. Hence the term "mass becomes infinite at the speed of light". Yes, there is no length contraction. Einstein didn't agree with that. That wasn't his math, he hired someone for that. Relativity does not predict singularities/astronomical concentrations of mass when dilation is factored in. SR wrong due to reference frame mixing and bad math. GR follows as incorrect. Gravity is simple relative motion. The earth is approaching- expanding at 16 feet per second per second constant acceleration- the released object. “The Final Theory: Rethinking Our Scientific Legacy “, Mark McCutcheon for proper physics including the CAUSE of gravity, electricity, magnetism, light and well.... everything.
