Definitely understand. It's hard to beat the details of the Ultimates. But I do like the torso articulation...but that's about it.

Hello, SuperDave! Just found your channel! I'm in NC, as well! Awesome to find a fellow collector here in my state. Regarding this figure, those ratchet joints are NOT something they should've used on this figure. I had to get this figure TWICE because the first one broke at the bicep. Couldn't get the shoulders to move and the strain on the bicep caused it to snap. Took your hair dryer advice on the replacement and it works well.

You think it’s just the biceps or shoulders as well? Compared to the other Lion O’s, the three creases on the bicep face outwards and the single crease is on the inside of the arms.

What is annoying is reading in several reviews that the biceps are inverted on the figure. How did that happen? Is it in the entire Lion-o run? I understand that it can happen in some other piece, but in all of them? Or are there some that have come with biceps placed correctly? Greetings.

@@mithrandir2733the biceps were labeled wrongly with L & R , hence the error in the factory when it was assembled

I'm not sure, it does not look noticeable to me, but when it was pointed out I guess I can see it compared to the other Lion-o. But all of them I have seen so far have the same issue.

They should have just used Mirror Lion-o with cartoon colors. This new one looks horrible in every possible way.

Your probably right, especially if they could have still given us the ball joint articulation in the torso, but made it look better.

Face Sculpt is not what Super 7 promised with the promotional images. That's a bummer for me.

I am so glad they fixed the torso articulation. That classics. Style SB crunch was. Outdated and horrible

Good one if you don't have him already but too basic (the hair is especially egregious) and too cartoony for me. The Ultimates have always kept to a nice middle ground of cartoon accurate design but more "realistic", detailed sculpt. Even the latest-- like the Thunderkittens--have detail-sculpted hair and they are as close to the cartoon as Super7 has gotten with the line.

I like the lack of detail in hair . Looks better and more accurate to cartoon
