The opening with the brave Bristleback carrying a bomb, and the ending with the laser that Thunderjaw was trying to fire losing its light due to a counterattack, are impressive.

I don't know if it works differently in Forbidden West, but my routine in Zero Dawn was to knock out the shoulder cannons. Then use those cannons to target the upper thigh (If you strip the thigh armor it will tip over after enough damage.) and/or panel right above it for the weakspot. Once the weakspot is exposed, you can either trigger the ice canisters when it tips sideways, or snipe the side core when it flips around to charge or roar.
