How does the marker stay in place?
@thundermistlures6 жыл бұрын
the marker has a sinker and once the sinker hits bottom, the marker stops unraveling...sometimes in heavy wind, it may unravel more, depending on the design of the marker...some hold in the wind better than others :)

Thank you for the videos is there any tips fishing a river in the fall or how walleye behave in the fall I’m in wyoming
@thundermistlures6 жыл бұрын
Good chance to get bigger fish in the fall as they will begin to move closer to their spawning areas - live bait on a T-Turn bait rig#2 is good as is jigging for them....in fact, they will also readily take a crankbait, such as the large Misty Minnow or American Smelt crank baits :)

James Gallagher Hi James - A T-Turn rig with live bait is one excellent choice (kzbin.info/www/bejne/fXfQn2ChmKh_nNU) and another great choice would be the Flexi Buck-tail Jigs as well as the Python Darters. Top water baits are also a good choice :) Many options available for you and hope you get into some nice stripers....things are just starting to heat up now :)

How do you not get snagged on rocks or weeds?
@thundermistlures8 жыл бұрын
+pAT C one of the key things to do is to have short casts, as this will help prevent snags :)
@flyboyfishingtv43397 жыл бұрын
how do u not get caught up in the weeds? is there a weed guard on it?
@thundermistlures7 жыл бұрын
There is no weed guard, but once you feel a weed, you just "snap" the jig out of the weeds and it usually comes out - however, this only works with sparse weeds (i.e. not the thick ones )

Hey Ivo and Antonio! Two of my friends along with myself were up at Sturgeon last week as well hunting down walleye and panfish. We rented a boat that time, but we're all young guys without our own boat and are searching for shore fishing spots, which allows us a more affordable trip. Have you heard of any or come across any shore fishing spots on Sturgeon or any other kawartha lakes? Thanks from Phillip in Toronto! Great Video!
@thundermistlures9 жыл бұрын
pantelisbouzouki Hi Philip - glad you enjoyed this walleye video and great to hear from you in Toronto :) As far as shore spots to fish for walleye, try your existing spots, but try them just as the sun goes down and 1 - 2 hours into the darkness - the walleye will move into the shallows to feed, so if there are some weeds in the area, it should be good and evening is a great time to fish form shore for walleyes :)
