Australian band icehouse are a good example in my opinion . I read a forum of critiques on their music from songs they had in the 80s . What a lot of bullshit . Most likely American critics . They mostly said the American market was set in its ways . And the bands lyrics weren't for the American market . The band had a lot of great songs. One clown 🤡 said he heard one song & then the band faded in to obscurity . Crap . Another bozo said he heard one song & that was enough . More crap . Unfortunately not every band breaks it big . We have a lot of great bands in Australia that should have been much more successful
