Wow, that was a fun session. The amount of abuse the XRT can take is unreal. With an unglued tire that never gave up during the whole session, it continue to perform like a champ. I just love that truck.

My first hobby grade was in 1983 a good ol tamiya hornet. It wouldn’t have lasted the first jump without breaking.RC cars have come so far,it amazes me. I only have a couple Traxxas cars and 7 Arrma and of course a few other brands tamiya and a few others. Arrma kinda took over the bash party on price and reliability out the box!

That rear tire is pretty much un glued itself from the entire rim whenever Thomas gives it fully power how it hasn't exploded completely yet is a real mystery?😂😂😂 Thomas's XRT sounds like a nitro car LOL. There “pre order” seems to be a bit of a joke, on releases it seems it’s quicker to hit the hobby shop 🤷🏻‍♂️ hope u get urs soon tho! If ur waiting on the 6s exb get some extra arms and upgraded hinge pins, im running In the snow so theres sum extra weight but i have struggled to keep rear lower hinge pins in that thing they jus shear even after installed upgraded hinge pin blocks and rpm arms …. 3 pins in a day 😭😅

Yeah, what great sessions with all these comparisons, you are right traxxas is tougher in general, but what about the mojave exb or the talion exb as well as the Kagama? As you can read I'm more a ARRMA and Corally fan boy....

Arrma and Corally have come a long long way in terms of durability and performance which is steadily bringing their name up to the top in this hobby. Traxxas has been around forever and makes amazing cars but they will have to be progressive if they want to keep up. 💪🏆🏆⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️

He said in the last video, he way prefers the krayton, I have the maxx v2 it’s a tank durability wise… but the esc and servo are garbage and the air control isn’t the greatest also hops around and chassis slaps even from small jump, I’ve also got the outcast v2 4s it’s way better for stunts imo! Hope this helps

I was between these two trucks (well, the K4V2, not the newer 2.5). They're really very different trucks, the Maxx v2 is very durable but it's more of a monster truck and thus has monster truck handling, while the Kraton is a truggy, nice low COG, great on an 1/8th scale track (I have pin tires for track runs), that sort of thing. The price difference is significant, personally if you have the money for a Maxx V2 I'd go for a Kraton 6S or just go all out with the EXB ($700, but worth it if you can afford it). If $700 is too high and you want to stick with 4S, I'm extremely happy with my Kraton. All depends on the type of driving you like to do, really.
