Ah, yes, it would most likely be. In the West Island, it was a brief non-severe thunderstorm - at one point, I thought that we wouldn't receive anything from the day out here, but then this happened luckily. Haha. You reside farther East, in downtown?

If the remnants of this tropical cyclone stays its current path, I can see this potentially introducing some chance for thunderstorms on August 9th into August 10th, especially if the Sun can break through.

Yes, there were Severe Thunderstorm Watches and locally a Severe Thunderstorm Warning just to the East. Over here, we had a brief non-severe thunderstorm - not much, but still worth putting something together (considering how scarce thunderstorms have been in my specific area this year)
