ThunderVolt at Playland, Just the Coasters (Off-Ride Footage)

ThunderVolt is the Intamin created, Zamperla refurbished launch coaster that was introduced to Playland in Vancouver, BC for the 2024 season. Replacing the hydrolic launch with a magnetic one and adding a new train, this ride offers some fun pops of airtime and some quick transitions, and will easily be one of the park's most popular rides for years to come.
Just The Coasters is for those wanting to see what a coaster is like, and is also available for fellow content creators to use in their content creation. All that is requested is that you include a credit for Coasting with Culture when using a Just The Coasters clip.

I finally got my chance to ride Thundervolt yesterday and I must say, Senzafiato definitely left me "breathless" true to its (former) name. I initially thought it was a glorified family coaster because the stats didn't look *that* impressive and was disappointed that they didn't go for a coaster with inversions (as the former Corkscrew had 2), but it definitely made up for the lack of inversions with how forceful it was. There were a few nice pops of airtime too, despite the fact that I got stapled. So yeah, job well done Zamperla on the new trains, can only imagine how awesome they would be on TT2 when it's not having technical problems.

This ride is certainly a good time! While I wish they would have found a way to add a second train for helping capacity, the layout definitely hits more than one would expect it to. - Gary

3 hr wait fucking sucked , but was fun once got on it. do miss the coaster that this replaced. wish could have both , only 2 coasters sucks

Yeah, the waits during PNE aren't fun. Waited about an hour to ride it the day I shot this, and just waited an hour today with friends who came from the East Coast to hit several PNW parks. - Gary
