Two races meet the ratings criteria for Thursday, with one race making it onto the bet slip for the ratings service. A further two bets for the Additional Picks service also make it onto the slip.
(Add Picks) - 16:25 Salisbury - Pinafore - Current best price of 8/1 with various firms - 0.5 points each way advised
(Add Picks) - 16:32 Lingfield - Youthful King - Current best price of 16/1 with various firms - 0.5 points each way advised
(Ratings) - 16:50 Haydock - Zarabanda - Current best price of 14/1 with Bet365, general 12/1 elsewhere - 2 point win advised at odds of 17/2 or higher

How much do you stake Dave ? Are you a big stakes punter or small stakes, I only do the odd pounds, how much you reckon is worth the stakes. Do you bet for a living?Peter Fillingham stakes £40. Hope I'm not being too personal can understand if you don't want to answer. Cheers.

Hi, Not too personal at all. I am not a full time punter, I have a yearly target figure I aim to achieve. I currently bet £30 a point, and that is a nice sweet spot for me. I don’t get too worried in a downswing, but also feel rewarded enough when the winners come. I will only really fluctuate on stake size when I’m supremely confident on a particular runner compared to the rest of the field. Only two such bets thus far this term, and both have won with authority, and stakes were high in comparison to normal. I don’t think I could mentally cope with large betting sums day in day out, even if I had a very large betting tank. Hope that answers your question 👍
