Too bad that a boot sold as "Moto", isn't really good enough to ride a motorcycle.

I rode with them on a motorcycle and the leather part on the bottom sole of the arch tends to slip on the peg. I feel that the leather is too soft to ride in, you will definitely feel that gear shifter and scratch the top of your toe box easily. Also no hard TPU on the inside of the leather for the malleolus bone or ankle protection. But the achilles tendon padding feels good. So yea, technically you could ride in them, but not a real riding boot like a Stylmartin, a Rokker or a TCX. But I do love them for casual wear, it’s a very good looking boot imo.

You nailed it. You always gotta get a real riding boot. Motorcycle style is just a style, and they look great, I'm thinking of grabbing a pair. I wear leather high topChuck Taylor's riding.

I can second that, going a half size down from your sneaker size is spot on. Just snug enough without pain. so they’ll stretch out when I wear them more.

I have worn them while riding. They are pretty nice and provide a lot of ankle support. I have upgraded the pegs into the boot board so I don't have the slippage as other people mentioned. A big con for me is the rubber bottoms are slippery on concrete in busier intersections that tend to get a build up of oils but that is almost expected.

I have the President, Captain, and Casa Moto. I also have wide feet. I find the President and Captains a bit more stiff and not as enjoyable to walk or drive in. I think the Casa Moto is probably the best boot I have ever owned, the leather is more flexible so it sometimes just feels like I'm wearing hitop shoes instead of a boot. Thanks for this review.

I ride alot, and I bought a pair of captains the a pair of Casa Motos on the first release, then two more on the second release, great boot. Also you should condition and polish your boots before you wear them and follow up on a regular bases.

Hi! They recommend sizing a half size down from your sneaker size. So if you're a 10 in sneakers, order 9.5. I'm a size 12 and go 11.5. Thanks for watching!

THursday sizing tip doesnt work for everyone. I wear a 12 in most sneakers 11s in converse oddly because they run large and ordered a half size down for their legend chelsea boot and got 11.5. Way too big. With supports help I found I was most likely an 11 in their boot, which I am in most boots but still followed their "guideline" and ordered an 11 in captains. Perfect fit. I do not have overly wide but have normal non narrow feet and realistically I probably am between a size 11 and 11.5 but with boots I can do size 11. So a tip for anyone reading this. if you wear a size smaller in boots than you do sneaker usually the same will be true for Thursdays most likely.

If u ride do not depend on these to protect you. They will be absolutely demolished, as well as your ankles, if you end up crashing. look up what happens to bikers ankles and legs when you ride without the proper riding boots, not saying you cant ride with them but thats gotta be a risk you have to weigh.

Thanks for the review. I was about to pull the trigger and decided I had better see if there were any reviews out there. Seeing that you're still happy with them after a year is encouraging. I have a different brand with the zipper on the side and love it. I would be too lazy to lace up boots every day and just throw on cowboy boots if it wasn't for the zipper. I'm a little worried about this half size smaller thing. I don't know why they would do that. Why wouldn't 10.5 be a 10.5? Just send me my size and we'll all be happy.
