Thank you for the review of these boots. I appreciate a review that's actually from someone that wears the boots and uses them in a more practical and rugged way, not so much fashion minded like so many others.

Have you had any issues with Metal detectors? Tsa specifically, but you mentioned courthouses.

@@a_cook no, I've worn these through many detectors including at schools, events, and courthouses and it's never set them off.

That front lip pull away happened on one of my boots (different style) too. I think that appears to be a common issue. I haven't gotten it fixed yet either, but I think you are right, a decent cobbler should be able to resolve it pretty quickly.

Do you ride a motorcycle with these boots, or are they good to use as motorcycle boots?

I personally don't ride yet. They're just a leather boot and don't have any particular safety ratings I'm aware of though.

greatt vid! we see you really putting them through different dusty/debris environments and stuff, in your experience is the fact that the tongue is not gusseted ever been something of a bother to you as someone that owns these?
