Great review. I am looking for an everything board for 2 lighter riders to learn and tandem occasionally. I'm comparing this to the Blackfin, Bluefin, Irocker, Bote, Isle, etc. and it seems to offer a lot. I'm a bit worried about the finish as you mentioned, but the package is compelling. I'll follow up here with a final decision. Also, I'm a bit perplexed with the lack of likes on this video, I think it provided a lot of great info, perhaps a more condensed version would help you and the viewer (although I really did appreciate the thorough review). Hi Lucas, Thanks for kind words. Glad you enjoyed this review. This board is still a real favourite for me as it does just about everything. It would hold two lighter riders for tandem paddles as well. From our accounts, the finish has been improved and to be honest a lot of brands like the Blackfin, Bluefin, etc have had some less than perfect finishes before. Appreciate your suggestion for a condensed version too. I'm sure that would be more appealing to viewers. Thanks again, Beau

Pure speculation but It looks like this board and perhaps other Thurso's boards have a few similarities with iRocker. I wonder if they contract with the same manufacturer in China. Given iRocker's recent drop in quality, that is a little concerning for those like me that were looking for an alternative in the North America market.

Hi Daniel. Im sure there are a lot of boards made from the same factories. But as regarding iSUP quality. We find this can vary a-lot between the same brands even if from the same factory! This is all to do with what the brands have in place to keep quality up at manufacturing. Do they have some one doing this as their only job? Do they have a quality control tick list in place? Also we get a huge amount of feedback from readers about there gear and we have heard of issues from iRocker which have all been warranted but with Thurso we haven't heard of many bag comments at present.
