I understand a lot of you are disappointed I hadn't uploaded for a few months. My apologies, I'll post some scale hive updates soon enough. Please keep the comments relevant to this video. I put some effort into showcasing Dan and his beekeeping business.

Nice video about Mr Thurston and the care he puts into his variety of products. It is amazing to see the availability out side of "just honey" to a bee keeper if one has a sizable operation able to expand into these areas. We always try to buy local when we can, but it can be difficult outside of the farmers markets as stores tend to shy away from 'local' due to our litigious society.
@JimWellman6 жыл бұрын
You sure it's not because the stores would have to charge too much, which would turn people away? Or possibly that local beekeepers may not be able to keep up with the store's demand? More $$$ go into the farmers pocket when selling direct to customers at a farmer's market.

There are so many of us that love your videos. You present everything very well in them. My second year of keeping bees was crazy this summer due to so much rain. Experienced a lot of dilemmas.

Hello Dan, from Colorado springs, originally from Ottawa. I love the content of your videos, very informative and to the point. Nice to see you support and promote other beekeepers. I wish I could apprentice with someone like you

Like seeing folks taking advantage of more than just the honey from the bees. Theft give us quite a few things to make value added products to help make our hobbies into sideline income.

I fed bees the same way as last year when I made videos about it. Unfortunately there can't be any videos on the topic made now, there's snow on the ground here.

I enjoyed the video. It was very well made. One thing that would improve it would be to remix the audio and turn the music you down just a little bit. It is in the foreground rather than the background.

Devan, please, come back!!! We need you! And yes, y'all pease support local food "producers", and actually all craftsmen! They're the last frontier between us vs that sociopathic 1%. Hardworking middle class is decimated by globalization. It's not old world vs the "progressive" one. It's us being (payroll) slaves vs people who think, that the rest of world's population is expendable.

Thanks for featuring another apiarist's work, sharing is caring. In this video, Dan is a very soft spoken person, and your music (while being very pleasant) makes it very difficult to hear and understand what he is saying.
