+ Affordable (direct to manufacturer keeps costs down)
+ Decent build quality (the LCRs and the dipoles, not the subwoofer)
+ Very clean, crisp sound (a bit dry, but very accurate)
+ Speedy delivery to the UK, even from Germany
+ Very high level of detail
+ Front soundstage is perfectly integrated
+ Dipoles are excellent (especially in small rooms)
+ THX Certified Select certification gives buyer some assurance of quality
+ 8 week risk free home demo - WOW!
+ Did I mention the price was good?
+ MTM LCR speakers - a very widely dispersed sound even from seat to seat
+ Flat membrane cones - again, this is very well thought out by Teufel for the application of home cinema
+ Multiple grille options in the box
+ Subwoofer lights up...quite cool
- Please...just publish one fixed price on your website (no 'sales' please..you're giving me anxiety)
- Subwoofer: fit and finish leaves alot to be desired
- Subwoofer: I'd like more power, extension and precision (especially when used as a music subwoofer)
- Email support: still not heard back yet
- Some won't like the brand prestige (looking at the website, they seem to sell alot of bargain products which devalues the brand a bit)

My first Teufel I bought just before millennium. I was very surprised the sound quality and dynamics.

Hi mate I’ve just bought teufel 5.1 surround sound second hand I can controll the volume with my sky a remote via Bluetooth on tv upstairs but my tv down stairs has no Bluetooth any ideas how I can controll volume with sky remote still?

To be honest mate I haven't used a sky remote in a long time, so I wouldn't be able to advise on that one! Sorry! For the best part of a decade I have been using the Logitech Harmony series of remotes to control all my devices, and I now use the Harmony Hub model with the LCD screen. I wouldn't go back and would highly recommend one if you have the funds for it!

@@propercushty thanks for the reply I have the sub plugged in to my via optical cable so would that remote controll the volume?

@@MrDonniebizzle87 You mean Sky remote or if you were to get a logitech? And the subwoofer should be connecting to the receiver with a subwoofer cable, not optical - bit confused here buddy?

@@propercushty lol Sorry it is confusing basically I’ve got a 5.1 surround connected to my tv via optical cable as it has no Bluetooth I just want to be able to turn the up/down with one remote
