Let me give you some info on this incredible trio and event: • Igor Krutoy, the pianist, is there as an overall lead because the event is built for him: this is his birthday event that he organized with all his favorite artists, the ones that he is used to collaborate with and the songs he has composed • This is not the first time that Lara sings this song (composed by Igor) in trio but the third time: she performed in the original version with Dmitri Hvorostovsky and Alina Yaroyava then again later with Dmitriy and Sumi Jo, before this new trio with Dimash and Aida. The song was composed from day one with her voice in mind. She has been collaborating with Igor for more than 10 years and he has told from her that she is “the best singer and the best songwriter he has ever worked with” • This also explains why the song does not exposes more of Dimash’s upper register: it was written for the late Dmitri who was a pure baryton. • Lara was very very sick that day, with fever and strong medication but she is skilled enough to have made it unnoticeable • Also, like Dimash, and even if the song was composed that way with her in mind, Lara does not sing in her real « comfort zone »: she is, as Aida, a lyrical soprano but here she plays the role in the trio of a mezzo-soprano and takes the median register. It requires a lot of voice control to not interfere with Aida’s high note and does not allow her to really shine. She gives room to Aida to do it instead and Aida uses this magnificently. • It was the first time Dimash met his idol Lara (he is a fan since he is a child and he covered several of her songs such as Adagio, Love of Tired Swans, Mademoiselle Hyde, Know, …): look how quickly he turned to her, despite he has not finished his duo section with Aida 😂 And how he looks at her and hold her after it … • Lara is the most comfortable in italian because it is her first native language even before french: her mother is italian and while born in Belgium she spent her first 5 years in sicilia before returning there. She also is married to a sicilian man • Look how dimash slightly adapted his vibrato to better match Aida or Lara • Also there is a debate about the final note, held for such a long time, with the conductor looking at Igor and Igor smiling: Did they make a prank to the singers by extending this last note? Or did the singers instead played with them? I personnally think this is more option 1 😀 • I forgot to add that Lara has been classically trained for more than 10 years at Brussels Royal Conservatory and still continues to receive voice lessons on a daily basis. And she has sung many times opera pieces or with opera singers. • Final note to say that Lara Fabian wrote the lyrics of the song Your Love for Dimash

The music is written as a trio. It is very specific. That is how it is in opera. This is an old composition of Igor Krutoy written in the class vein, and you can hear other great artists singing this. No one out-sings any of the other artists. The level of the voices are actually notated. It is not considered professional or proper to not stick to the music. It’s not because Dimash chose to not overpower the female singers - they are all obliged to sing as a trio.

I don't think they missed a vowel in "mia". Lara is a native Italian speaker; it's probably the right way to pronounce it in Italian.

Either way is acceptable. We all pronounce, inflect, stress, accent, etc. the same words _differently_ regardless of the language spoken and in spite of the fact that one may be a native speaker of said language. How we might ''choose'' to handle a particular word will depend upon any number of factors eg. context, mood, emotional bearing, environment, physical or anatomical adaptations, and so on. People don't generally tend to think that in their everyday speech they so readily act upon or directly influence a language to this degree, especially, not one for which they otherwise sense an intimate kinship.

Hi your reaction just popped up in the algorithm. You obviously don’t don much about Lara Fabian. That’s fine, I didn’t know about her till about a year ago. Dimash is wonderful but the best…..nope, Lara every time and if you want to know if she can sing opera check out her La Traviata. She was classically trained from the age of 8. She wasn’t singing with a pop sound because she can’t do the classical sound. It was intended. By the way, please don’t sing
