@@Tiago-rz2hr It's not a reference to a game. It is a real chant which you can still hear in Greece before the great lent of Easter. Constantinople and probably many other cities were dedicated to Mother Mary. Greeks also sang this chant in some fights in the period of the greek revolution and many believe tha Mary helped them. So the game tool this song from the Orthodox chant not vice versa

@@KAI-bk6vb This is a hot debate, but I always considered the Western and Eastern Roman Empires to be direct successor states, but not Rome itself. They were the undisputed continuation of Rome, but they were two empires in a close union instead of one state. Cooperating in trade and (sometimes, but not always) their policy against "barbarians", but definitely having conflicting interests. TL;DR Rome in general also includes the Western and Eastern Roman Empires and fell in 1453 (or in 1461 if you count Trebizond as a legitimate successor), but the Roman Empire as a state of that name fell in 395. Both the West and East considered themselves Romans, just like both North and South Korean think of themselves as part of the Korean nation, but that did not make both Romes a single state.

Buna ziua! Draga Gabriel, de ieri ascult imnul acesta: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z6W9qqaNl7Nkgqs . Este acelasi imn, imi poti spune te rog?
@gabrielradasanu2 жыл бұрын
In semn de multumire, intreg poporul capitalei si-a petrecut noaptea victoriei cantand in picioare imnul Acatist in sanctuarul Fecioarei de la Vlaherne.

No, Constantine of the Christian Roman empire (not Byzantium. That's a name given to us much later by the west because they wanted to present the heretical Frankish "Holy Roman Empire" as the successor to the Roman empire, which existed a long time as the amazing Christian Roman empire, with its capital in Constantinople, after the pagan Roman empire, which persecuted the Christians & that had its capital in Rome ceased to be).
