one of my all-times favorites. probably of of the more universally acceptable/ radio-friendly type songs Tuomas has written, but still with Nightwish's signature power. love the build-up into the guitar solo, then the deconstruction back down to keyboard and Floor... then building, building... building: explosion! That whole ending with the drummer going double-kick the whole time while Marko and Floor exchange vocals is just... amazing. great reaction... I think most Nightwish fans look just like you when listening to this music, all smiles.

Yes, Nightwish is "Make You Feel Happy"-music. Smiling faces on the stage, the crowd is happy and rocking along to every song, they know the lyrics and belt it out loud and in some recordings you can even hear the crowd "ooh"-ing together with Emppu when he is playing his guitar solos - And he looks so very happy when they do that. There is much more in the Nightwish chest waiting for you to discover. Cheers / B.

This song has one of the few memorable breakdowns I love. Only with Nightwish does a drummer and a vocalist combine frantic drumming and desperate vocals to produce emotions that are representations of being in love. I get goosebumps hearing Ever Dream. Every. Single. Time. No matter how many times I've heard it before.

It used to be one of my favourite songs back in the Tarja days. When I returned to Nightwish after a looong break, this was one of the very few interpretations by Floor that I felt ambivalent about. I think that being an old favourite, Tarja's voice was imprinted in my mind. However, when I accepted the fact that Floor's version has got a different emotional charge, I was able to enjoy it in its own right and especially the Wacken performance has become a Nightwish favourite of mine.

I am loving your Nightwish reactions! There are at least two more songs you need to check out to have a well-rounded Nightwiah experience. First, you need to react to "Harvest," which is the song featuring Troy on lead vocals (he is the piper and flutist). Lastly, all of the songs by Floor that you've seen have been her singing Tarja's and Annette's songs, but none that were her own! To rectify that, I highly recommend "Greatest Show on Earth (Live at Tampere)." It's a little over 20 minutes long, but it's the most epic 20 minutes you'll ever spend! And as long as you're in the metal genre, you'll find that many members of the Nightwish Army are also members of The One, which is what we call the fanbase for BABYMETAL! If you give them a look, you won't regret it! I recommend starting with either "Headbanger, (live from the Legend of 1997 show)" or "Road of Resistance (Live in Japan)"!

I strongly recommend CREEK MARY’S BLOOD from Nightwish. This song features the guest appearance of Native American Artist John Two-Hawks in which he sings with Tarja, and plays a Native American Flute. I dont recall this being reviewed before, and I cant understand why. To me the trail of tears in american history is one of the saddest moments in America's history, and one of the most powerful stories. It is absolutely one of THE most unique songs I have ever heard done, and Nightwish did an amazing job with it in the End Of An ERA concert which was Tarja's final concert with Nightwish back in 2005. I can honestly say I have never heard the Native American type of sound incorporated into Metal, but of course its going to be with Nighwish, who does it, and does spectacularly well. Wonderful reaction Tia! So great to see you having so much fun with Nightwish. I'd like to suggest a reaction to another singer you might like. Her name is Aurora and she is Norwegian. Not Metal by any means although she does like metal. She's hard to put in any category other than wonderful :). She is only 24 years old and already has 3 albums under her belt all written by her. She also plays piano, dances and has done some pretty amazing covers. Most people start with her music video of "Runaway". Although her videos are great, she is even better live. Please take a look.

My other favorite performer is a band is from Monterrey Mexico The Warning - 3 sisters who rock - 1 EP 2 albums 33 original songs all independently done thru Patreon and Kickstarter. In 2020 these young ladies are all under 20, each has mastered their instruments Alejandra - Bass, back vocals (Spector Artists at 13 she is now 15) Paulina - Drummer, vocals (Sybian Artist) Dany Lead guitar, vocals, (RickToone Artist, Manson Guitar) Love them because of their work ethic and commitment to their music.
