• Liver King Saved His S...
The entire Sevan Podcast. AKA the first the Liver King had ever been on.
Tia Toomey, Joe Rogan, and the Liver King with this
title I expect big things.
If you are here for the Tia portion, skip to the 30:00 mark.
If Tia Toomey were to pop, I would be the first to try to help out (of course everything is situational). But, I do not like to beat on people when they are down.
The does no go for Joe Rogan when he talks about the Liver King. Look deeper man. You are smarter than that.
The Liver King saved his kids lives. This is why he does what he does. If you think otherwise you have the emotional inteligence of a 5 year old.
"Steroids are bad, he cheated."
Yeah and Santa was real too.
Grow up,
-Coach Andrew

Claiming that he was trying to help young men who are hurting themselves by lying to them is breathtaking arrogance. What are these people supposed to do when they don't achieve his physique after eating his capsules - they feel better? No they feel worse.

I never watched the Liver King's videos and am indifferent about his steroid use. The only relevant fact is that he lied multiple times and we can never know why he lied. Maybe to make loads of money, maybe to spread his message of ancestral tenets, maybe some other reason. He has lost all credibility and there is no way to know whether any of his stories are true (including about his kids). It is foolish to believe anything he says when he admitted to lying about something so significant. The ancestral tenets may be the greatest thing ever. Still, living by them was not enough to overcome his own insecurities and mental health issues. If anything, he has shown the tenets are ineffective to solve his issues. These are the same issues that he says in his confession are what drives him to help others and he showed clearly that he does not know how to fix those. If you want to learn how to live a healthy life, there are many more credible sources out there. Why would anyone listen to anything he says?

The biggest issue here is not that he is using PEDs. The issue is that he lied about using PEDs. He was asked multiple times and lied to us directly. I doubt any of us really give a shit if he's on gear or not. I think the biggest problem is that he said to be a role model to young people and to others. Practice what you preach and if you do other things that help you get to where you are, be honest. I think that's the biggest problem with PEDs. So many today say you can be like "this", just do this and buy from me, but are actually doing stuff behind the scenes that they aren't telling people. He's preaching sooooooooo many great things. He's telling us so many great ways to make our lives better, but he's not being completely honest. He may not have came straight out and said, "do this and you'll be exactly like me," but it's a way of life he lives and preaches that others are trying to follow and when they try and fail, it can be depressing.

I am not sure why there is so much focus on this guy. While I don't know all that much about the guy, it seems fairly obvious that he is a guy that sold a nonsense story so he can sell supplements in an unregulated market. Anyone who honestly believed that he doesn't use PED's seems wilfully ignorant. The focus on how he helped his kids with this "ancestral living" is also rather strange. He does not seem to mention any peer-reviewed studies that confirm or at least correlate this lifestyle with the improvements his children have experienced. Finally, even if we give him the benefit of doubt that this is what helped his children, it is disingenuous to suggest that an elimination diet that includes questionable supplements is right for everyone just because it helped someone that clearly had some kind of disorder. Overall, I would say that there is no reason to get bent out of shape over this guy, just as there is no reason to put much faith in any part of his message. But the one thing on which I agree with you 100% is that the PED use should probably not be relevant in any way to anyone trying to form an opinion about this guy or his message.

That spent a very small portion of the conversation laughing at how preposterous it was for him to lie about being Natty and then discussed other influencers, PED's, and their negative effects for the remainder of that first hour. It is very fair to hold up a person who has lied and went out of his way to lie, and call them out publicly (especially when that person was making tons of money off of their false advertising). If he was genuine, he would have shared his full apology on Instagram, his largest social media platform. Instead, he drove viewership to KZbin to watch his apology. People still love Arnold, who was on steroids and openly admitted he lied to friends to get the advantage over them. Liver King’s cause was noble at least, and I feel by him creating a character he exposed more young men to his message than he ever could’ve without the persona and hypercharged physical structure. The ends justify the means in this case. I found Paul Saladino before Liver King and reversed my health issues by prioritizing ethically raised and sourced meats and organs. I had low energy, no drive, terrible skin, no muscle mass, but now it’s the exact opposite, I don’t have the muscle mass or physique of LK but I understand why he created the character to spread the message.

Great point of view! I totally understand it’s not okay to lie and he deserves some pushback of course. But at the same time the people hating the most are people that have not truly listened to anything liver king has said. He makes it very clear that he is selling the lifestyle NOT his body. He preaches to be healthy and live better, he doesn’t preach to buy his products and look like him. The hate is unjustified, liver king has worked hard for what he has, he has body dysmorphia and insecurities so he takes steroids but he doesn’t want people to think they need to take steroids to live a good life. He knows steroids are wrong and that’s why he doesn’t want young kids looking up to him thinking they need steroids too.

This is an excellent take. Basically, LK is promoting "whole prey nutrition," but for human beings. The basics. And that science has been historically proven to be highly effective, for all living things. (Source: every species that's survived up and until this day.) "From the rooter to the tooter," was the way of old. And yes, from whole food nutrition, you'd benefit in MANY more ways than just being 'jacked.' Especially mentally. The question is: what if he fully followed his ancestral tenets and diet, and didn't use PEDs at all? The natural source of things, should produce 'the most dominant form of oneself,' over synthetics. So technically, what he's accomplished is genetically possible for him, with the proper diet and training. Technically. Maybe he'll train 100% natty from here on out, and surprise himself. And everyone else.
