When I last did a championship in F1 2006 the Ferrari's and Renaults managed to get 225 and 222 points respectively. I was driving for Ferrari and the championship went to last race. God this game is amazing. I also remember the race at Indianapolis, highlight of the season. I started 4th and won by one stopping on lap 28 of 73, I also had a gearbox failure with 4th gear going on me about 30 laps from the finish. I was amazed I won it to be honest as the tyres were also pretty destroyed (Nearly red). I should do another 2006 championship. :D

Why did you run Q3 with 22 laps of fuel in the car but then at the start of the race you only had 7? Can't you take the fuel out for Q3 like you can for Q2 and Q1?

the fuel in the car at the start of Q3 is the fuel you start the race with. you burn it off during Q3, in that era of F1 drivers would do slow laps for ages at the start to get rid of fuel.

Makes no difference. That's how it was in F1: CE. You got a full fuel tank and you had to burn it off to gain the fuel back for the race. So although he started with 35 laps of fuel, because he's doing 20% races, it's actually scaled down. So he's in effect carrying 7 laps of fuel for the race. In Qualy 3, you started with the fuel you planned to use for the 1st stint. That's why it says 35 laps. Sorry if it's a little complicated to understand.
