i genuinely checked the date this was uploaded to see if the title was an april fool's joke. that's how culturally important and beloved the original splash mountain is, and how bad it is that they replaced it. also, "racial implications"? my guy, there isn't a single human in the entirety of splash mountain. they're ANIMALS. it's a fox picking on a rabbit because they're natural enemies in the animal kingdom. it isn't any deeper than that, and the people who think it IS are the same people stretch to get offended by literally everything. disney's usually pretty patronizing to everyone, but getting rid of something so beloved crosses a certain line that shouldn't be crossed, and the disparagement this remodel is facing is completely and utterly deserved

I understand your view I only discovered the Splash Mountain information while researching the new ride which led down this rabbit hole (get it) which still apparently doesn’t scratch the surface of the story. I appreciate your comment and I know Splash Mountain was loved by many.

Did you Tianas Bayou Adventure is more rasist then Splash Mountain. Thats right and this is not because i hate the ride. Its because the ride is literally the setting of the Louisiana Avery Island Salt Dome where slavery. The story is posted all over the internet that the imaginers decided to use that setting. The queue line says you are entering the Salt Mines. Including a sign that is 100% a rasist joke referencing the slavery. Because its African American History.
