When these introductions were released, they were released under the YG channel. There was no Baby Monster channel until a couple of months later after each girl received 10 million and more views each. Many viewers say that YG had always intended for all 7 to debut but I think it was very much the fans that decided to OT7. YG always did intend on a smaller 5 member group if the views had fallen off any of the girls. Fortunately the views held up more than 10 million each. Rose of Blackpink dropped a cover song just prior to Baby Monster introductions and that also reached 10 million views at the time and was the control benchmark. Very scientific.

this is a big deal because they are YG's first girl group in seven years, a.k.a since BLACKPINK debuted. This company can be anything you want but they are amazing at marketing anything they feel has the potential to be huge. I left a comment similar to this on another video and someone told me they did a bad job marketing blackpink but YG did all the marketing they thought was necessary years ago and truth be told, blackpink are at a point where they really don't need any excessive promotions because everyone (fans and haters) are always tuning in whenever they do anything. They did an incredible job using these weekly releases over the past 5ish month to gain attention for baby monster and I think their debut will be a success, lets just see how YG handles them when they make their first comeback

They will be announcing the final line up in AN HOUR AHH!! These videos were last filmed last year. Chiquita is now 14 as of Feb which is still young but so talented. I can't wait to see how far they have come and improved since last year. Ahyeon is my bias and is an all-rounder but they're all so talented and have their own unique style! all I can say is you don't have much time. just 1 days left and they will announce who the official members are in BabyMonster. Up until now, YG has been using these intro and evaluations as an elimination method to bring the group down to 5 members. I would not have spoiled this for you except for the fact there is 1 days left, and either you did not know, and would not know what is going on come Friday (Korean Time) which is Thursday for most Americans. or you already watched some of the evaluations already, and knew this part.
