Great video. That said, love the outdoor scenery and a bit jealous seeing Spring arrive in Australia...while (conversely) here in the Midwest US/Northern, Illinois... Autumn has passed and Winter has actually arrived nearly an entire month early!

Never heard sine and cosine explained like that in school. I always encountered them in math problems but never understood the idea behind them. Thanks for the content toby!❤️

I am impressed by your clarity. You taught in ten-minutes the trigonometry that I self-studied in a week (I took a summer class of mathematics to skip a grade and challenge myself but the summer teacher never taught trigonometry). TL; DR you're amazing

I didn't understand anything of that sine stuff... need to try harder, but i have been mesmerized by your enchanting way of telling this great story of bob, the acorns and the squirrels. AND I plant trees! A lot of them due to my work as a gardener. Thank you for peaking my interest in this subject.

The nature sounds add to the presentation in this style of video. Also, I wish there was room for this type of creativity in order to understand topics in undergrad math. We get so many practice problems I don’t feel like I get enough time to process the whole picture.

The pronoumciation of acorns sounds like the word squirel in dutch We call squirels “eekhoorns” (sounds like acorns) which made it a bit confusing sometimes : ‘ )

Liz Leapin Dutch is a germanic language too. If you compare northern/western germanic dialects to danish or dutch you‘ll see the change clearly.

This joy of mathematics series is an utter joy. I enjoy it all so much. I mentioned that in another video here. I am continuing to watch this series, re-invigorating my mathematic mind after such a long hiatus from anything mathematic. I enjoy that you continue a narrative all throughout with bob :)

I watched briefly "marilyn Monroe" and "Elvis Presley" and then Tibees Video. Wonderful introduction and story. I have watched this recently and recalled using this maths with oscilloscopes. Thankyou Toby !
