This is honestly the best video I’ve seen on brave wilderness with so much kindness with empathy. It’s heartbreaking the stray dog catastrophe not only in Costa Rica but across the world. Well done to the brave wilderness team providing this gorgeous boy a chance at life and a loving home. Hopefully you guys will work more closely with strays in your travels for wildlife and promote neutering and rescue from shelters!

What a sweet pup! Not even the slightest growl when Coyote petted him during his first feed! I SO wish I could get him! But... This time last year, I had a year old German Shepherd show up on our place, starving and dirty. He HAD to be Covid puppy... Somebody got him during during lock down and once things went back to "normal", it was time to get rid 5he extra mouth to feed. Hes SUPER smart, big and beautiful, and INSANELY LOYAL!!

You guys never cease to amaze me! I am so glad that he found you guys and that you were able to find someone to take care of him until he finds his forever home. Stray dogs and cats are such a problem all over the world and it is so so sad and frustrating. I have 5 rescue cats and 3 feral cats outside (plus the raccoons and opossums that show up and get fat) and I still feel like I am not doing enough. You guys are great for for helping Rufus and I really enjoyed this video. I teared up 🥹 when Mario said that he was tearing up. It was a bitter sweet moment. This is how you know these guys love animals, and love animals way more than any amount of money. They could have left the dog to get to their next destination or even to go home and rest, but if I saw correctly, they stayed extra time to make sure he had a home. Well done, coyote and team!

Well there it is! Brave Wilderness team could adopt Rufus even if they couldn't take him with them in the 12 hour period before they had to go back to the states. I think that would have been one of the best outcomes for him since he found them in the jungle, they didn't find Rufus in the jungle. The dog chose, them over other human beings who might have come across him there.

I wanna tell a story how I met a stray dog So one day my dad was in his classroom,and after my class I was surprised that there was a puppy he was feeding I said "woah dad is that a puppy?" He said "yeah we are probably gonna take him home with us" I was very excited (btw I had 4 dogs) We brang him home with us,my dad made a dog house for him,I said "Soo what are we gonna name him?" My dad said "hmm....Oh! Zappy!" I said "that is a great name dad! Hello zappy welcome to the family" my brother came downstairs and saw the puppy,he was so happy he played with it,cuddle,more playing😂.Then after a few weeks......he died😢 we buried him somewhere..not sure...But may Zappys soul rest in peace...you were such a great dog zap...😢
