They remind me a bit of the small licks Paul plays on his Casino during the final verse of Drive My Car except even less noticeable. It does really make me want to see a cover of Little Child since the guitar part's so inaudible that there's debate as to whether or not any guitar's even present on the song.

One little constructive criticism...if I may, the intro 12 string in the A Position when you hit the High E note before going back to the A chord, it actually is picked a slight bit earlier, listen closely again. It’s not exactly on the “4and” on the open B. Strikes a slight bit earlier like it’s part of the B. Comes in earlier that the up beat, like almost nite strummed immediately after the B. Not sure if I’m explaining it that well lol, sorry.., but besides that everything else is exact. Listen to George’s intro again. Makes it very unique sounding. Almost cutting the the ring time of the B note in half....

Nice cover! Lennon's part is correct in the coda but he is also doing this throughout, changing to D on the "and" of 3...that's where the F# you hear comes from throughout the song---only a couple of covers on YT ever get that part right, but nice on the rest...also, the 12 string doesn't do the volume swells, George's overdubbed Strat does this...the 12 string and Strat are recorded together on track one and both guitars stop and ring out in that section on the isolated tracks.

nice job Ably House. like everyone else, enjoyed the Casino bits. i think the bass note on the ri-hi-hide break is an octave higher (or it could just be a harmonic -- but it's what i hear). Live at NME '65 Paul plays a g note which I think is worse-- i like the single better. Cheers.

@AblyHouse2 жыл бұрын
When I play it live, I also play Dmaj and add the little Here Comes The Sun bit by lifting off the F# for a quick E passing tone. The 7th came from listening to the isolated track.
