Green's strategy only really works if you also get the longest route, like they did here. Conceding the 15 point bonus for most tickets AND the 10 point bonus for longest route usually fails on the mega game.

Hey Matt, you should try the new 1912 expansion for Europe available in bga. It's more ticket friendly.

I would keep all 5. It's saves you one turn of drawing and you want Seattle for potential seattle-NA route draw in the late game.

Lol, I loathe playing against this strategy because it's way more fun to draw a million tickets. Half the time it doesn't work anyway! But it's something to try I guess.

i probably keep everything at the start and that's maybe enough to beat green, it certainly gets in their way which is probably good.
