I wouldn't have. It's the wrong song for her. Yes, she sings it just fine, but it almost sounds like a copy of the original. Especially for a non-native speaker of English, we get a lot of people who copy the sounds but don't necessarily understand the song. Her English is excellent, aside from a few minor quirks you expect from a Russian-speaker. The point being that like Heidi said, a different song might have showcased her talent better than this one which is a bit "one-note." Talented? Absolutely. Yes vote for the next round? Absolutely. But not a golden buzzer-worthy performance.

These judges need their ears checked. I just listened to the original song and Daneliya blew right past it, her range is phenomenal. Wish she did the full song. To tell her she needs to do a quieter song, no way. That song belongs to her.

My first reaction while watching the video and listening to this rendition of this song was very emotional. I feel the original depicted the times of that era with hope of turning things around. Disturbed rendition depicts the times now. The song is powerful, done in away that comes across as a warning of the the chaos and division of people that are becoming desensitized to the point of not hearing, not listening and " like a cancer grows." It was beautiful, powerful and moved my heart to tears. I listened more than once and the power and emotion had tears falling down my face. His voice, nothing short of Wow. Absolutely amazing. Thank you to Disturbed . 💖
