The fluidiity of these binds feels much more natural. Just started getting into the game and was fumbling with my controls. Helped tremendously. TY! Only changes I made were foot pedals for lean left, right, and middle pedal for push to talk.

For anyone who uses ads toggle, a fantastic keybind is hold breath on RMB on release, that way you automatically hold breath when you ADS

Think hes having to hold another modifer button then scroll to change it. i feel like that would be weird to me after being so used to just scrolling to change my speed. i constantly use it so i wouldnt really want to hold another modifier key just to change walk speed 24/7 but idk. may work well once you get used to it. i havent tried this but neat to see how other people are using their binds.

One little change i did was changing toggle tactical devices to "mouse wheel down" instead of "T" and changing scope magnification to "LControl+mouse wheel down". Great video tho, very helpful!

Just a tip about check fire mode. you can check fire mode and while checking hit change fire mode during the animation and you can change fire mode in silence. pretty nifty. both have an animation anyway and check fire mode animation isnt long so check/immediately switch and never hear the click. dont always use it but works well in certain situations..

have you checked and confirmed this in a offline raid or with a friend or someone to make sure the silence of the change fire mode isnt just silent for you while checking fire mode and maybe not silent for other people? I know certain things are like that so was just wondering if you checked that. if so then thats great to know lol

I like to put a bandage in slot 4 and then a Calok in slot 0, I then set 4 on press for slot 4 and 4 on release for slot 0. That way hitting 4 will fix both light bleeds and heavy bleeds. You could of course use whichever slots you want using this method. The only issue with this is that if either one runs out you have to set both of them again for it to work.

We have so many of the exact same binds. I was also an old school arma 2 dayz player. Surprised you didn't put vault on V, if you remember that from back then. I actually have jump and vault on V and hold breath on space ;) also C to crouch, Hold C to prone I think that was arma 2 too.

I use LMB+RMB to discard and it works well for me. Also I use my 2 mouse buttons for modifiers. Mouse 4 + Q,Z,E,C,F,CTRL,1,2,3 Mouse 3 + Q,Z,E,C,F,CTRL,1,2,3 Place everything on release. Doesn't hender movement and everything is easily accessible and common keys to press

Switching magnification is also great as mouse 3+mouse4 so hold side back mouse and hit front side mouse and you can still utilize side mouse buttons to lean but when push together it does different stuff holding mouse 3 plus other buttons open crazy keybinds lol

I bought footpedals bc of landmark and it's night and day difference over Q&E or Mouse leans. I'd recommend getting pedals that aren't connected so you can be more comfortable and not have your legs close together like you're driving.

it must have been getting interfered with from another bind - changed it to RCtrl and worked np - gonna think about what i wanna change it to - im left handed so this is doubly hard for me - luckily i have a wooting keyboard where its easy to remap keys - i've completely remapped the numpad and arrows to make this work with a normal mouse - i was using a left-handed naga before - we'll see how it goes... 4th wipe and still frigging around with keybinds!

Useful setting for weapon swap: set on sling weapon on 2 press mode and alternative 3. Then set on back weapon on 2 but release mode and alternative key 3. On default if you have on sling gun in hand ad you press 2 it doesn't do anything, but with the settings you also have the back gun on 2 on release. It helps because it doesn't matter what button you press (2 or 3) it just swap your weapons which is what you want. Like q in hunt. Same for heal you can set a slot for 4 press and one for 4 release. On press you can use bandage or calok and a cheese on the release slot. You press 4 your bleed is stopped and healing with cheese starts automatically after. This way with only 4 and 5 you can use 4 slots for heals.

Change smooth lean right and ledt to ALT + Q/E. leave q and e for regular lean and hokd alt when you want to smooth out and save your mouse buttons for voip swap shoulder and discard

no way brotha, that is a less effective approach that makes your movement worse and your peaks worse. Im a very aggressive player and I can not afford to put 2 of my most valuable keybinds for looting and voip. That approach might work well for someone who scavs a lot

I recently redid my keybinds in an attempt to get the leans on my mouse, and actually removed basically every keybind that required a modifier, instead opting for double presses on functions thag arent critical in combat. That way i can free up my left Alt for tac devices, allowing my to blind people with a flashlight on command while still being able to move, lean, aim and fire. I got sick of Control and Alt being taken up by modifiers, so i just removed anh modifiers and took back those keys for more vital functions like crouch and tac device. I have to admit I will be taking that Shift + mouse wheel idea though. That's a smart modifier.
