I love the camp setup. Large log serves as a fire reflector and support for the shelter pole. The shelter pole supports the tarp and you have your fire under it to hang your pot for cooking or boiling water. Plus you have a rain catch for water at the back of the tent. Very efficient! LMAO at "it is a bacon"!

Really liked this video. Loved the Bacon joke. Reminds me of the Scottish joke of wild Haggis. We tell newcomers to Scotland, that once a year we go wild Haggis hunting. Google 'Haggis' and you'll understand.

Thank you :) ...i got exhausted pretty fast with the saw, to thick. My blanket is a danish civil defense (firemen kind of thing)! Its 1 cm. thick, pure wool and very nice :D Yea! it was a bacon i the trap ;D. You have to click on the letter icon under the video, to choose subtitles. :)

Fantastic camping skills! What did you have with the bacon? Was it beans? I prefer my Coleman tent with enclosed floor and cot with sleeping bag. But I realize you're packing it in...I have my car nearby, with Coleman stove, cooler, etc....a bit of "glamping." Peace.

Only ticks. :) We have wolves now, but I am only afraid that my dog will think it is another dog. The snakes we have are only dangerous if you are allergic.

You need a Thermacell. I know, modern technology is taboo for bushcrafters. But, they sure keep the mosquitoes away. They run off of butane fuel cells too instead of batteries. I live in Minnesota USA and mosquitoes are our adopted state bird here...really bad. I wouldn't consider going into the woods here without my Thermacell.

Really nice - cool camera/BC work - So many commentables but I wondered how long you'd go with the saw - back to the axe eh. Only a blanket- see why you need so much wood. Im glad someone said something about the one hand axe use. On on occasion there you delivered a glancing blow with the axe and it just barely missed your head. The only thing that saved you was your reflexes and your incredible strength, but when you get exhausted thoae two incredible traits will be waning and not be as quick or as strong. Your videos are sensational but I do fear for you on the one handed axe use .
