Great videos! Is there a way to get a filter that shows the tasks that are due on the next Monday or Tuesday etc? When I've tried it shows me the tasks that are due on every Monday not just the Monday coming up! I could do this with Todoist but doesn't seem to work with tick tick
@LucasPrigge2 жыл бұрын
Yes, by activating and then navigating to the "Next 7 Days" view you will be presented with a list of tasks grouped by their day through sections which you can collapse and expand for easy viewing.

Great videos Lucas. Is there a way to hide completed tasks from the calendar view?
@LucasPrigge2 жыл бұрын
Yes, you can hide them using a filter on the right hand side on desktop, or by going to View Options > Hide Completed on mobile

Hi Lucas, great video, very useful. Quick question regarding TickTick, can I sync TickTick calendar with Google calendar in a 2-way sync? I am still looking for a way to manage my google calendar exclusively with TickTick but can't find a way. Thanks !
@leloupization Жыл бұрын
Short version is, no. There are several work arounds but for some reason ticktick won't set up a legitimate 2 way sync with Google Calendar like todoist or ... really any other modern task app.

I don't own one so I can't tell for sure, but here is what TickTick themselves have to say about it: blog.ticktick.com/2015/04/27/get-things-done-on-your-wrist-with-ticktick-for/

Hey Lucas! thank you for your useful videos I have a specific question... I want my routines (for example a morning routine that includes waking up, bathing and meditating) to be visual on the calendar, but I want these routines to not be "checkable", so that at the end of the day they are not counted as overdue tasks and warnings appear in red that I did not complete them, and that they do not affect the productivity statistics of my account. Is there a way to do this? It would help me a lot if you give me a solution to this. Thank you very much in advance
@LucasPrigge Жыл бұрын
You can set up a routine tasks with date association, then convert it into a note which will remove the checkbox but retain the time
@siempresonlasdoce Жыл бұрын
@@LucasPrigge By converting it into a note, it stops working as repeatable (for example daily) to fulfill its routine function well. Thanks anyway
@LucasPrigge Жыл бұрын
Sorry about that. In that case, I would just add these as calendar items on your actual calendar and subscribe to it so it shows in TickTick

Thanks for the video. While I love TickTick and use it everyday I can't help but think that it's almost perfect but it's handling of projects is one of its weak spots.

Thanks so much for your continued content, Lucas! Your videos helped me switch over to TickTick for my GTD system and it's been a real game changer. Is TickTick still your primary productivity app for your own personal system, after switching from Todoist? Any others that you'd consider switching to, or are you pretty happy with TickTick?
@LucasPrigge2 жыл бұрын
Thanks Eric! That's awesome to hear. Still cruising on TickTick and happy with it! Though I'd love if they improved their design, support sequential projects and add a mind mapping feature.

The main problem for me in TickTick it's that when I synchronized my calendar with program's calendar all of tasks duplicated in my list.
