Three weeks ago I'd never heard of GMRS; now I have a GMRS license, own two TD-H3s, and just today received two TD-771 antennas. I like your conversational style of presentation. You should do teardowns and open up these mics you review see if they have orings and the type of board they use.

It appears to be a copy of the Commountain speaker mic, but with slightly lighter build-quality (thinner cord, speaker feels lighter). I've got both of them and the Commountain has a bit more midrange at the expense of higher tone clarity. The HM060 is the reverse, with more upper clarity, but less midrange.

Since this radio has Bluetooth, one would think that it would work with a Bluetooth speaker mic? I'm seriously considering getting one of these.

I gotta mention it... The customs clearance on their stuff directly is an issue... whether it's a small issue or not depends on the individual placing the order and the particular situation that order finds itself in during shipping. Expect delays when you order from them.

How much was the hit on customs fees?

@@KS6DAY nothing, and shipping was just $6.99... the package has just been in customs for 7 days. They do provide tracking information so at least you're not left wondering.

I just saw they're having a flash sale on them this week...$3.33 for the pair. I'm still waiting for my first order, but for $3.33 I don't think I can afford not to buy a couple more pairs to probably give to someone else at some point.
