Since spring and neap curve are diffrent when will you use on over the other?
@getlostboating5 ай бұрын
It’s not as precise as some would like. On springs or a day or two either side use the spring curve. Likewise for neaps. If you’re in between spring and neap go in between the curves. Remember to check the almanac for guidance on specific ports

Where do you get a blank tidal graph for a standard port near you or your going to visit?
@bowwave593 жыл бұрын
@@getlostboating I flotilla sail in the Mediterranean, so don’t need any tidal information just yet.. I am asking for a work colleague who has a 42 foot MV in the south East UK. He’s lived on for about a year. He’s unqualified, but will be taking a course when COVID eased. I was explaining about how to use the tidal graph so he knows when he can leave and do some small trips out from his home harbour. His home harbour drys out . He recently damaged a prop leaving. So some important pre course reading in order. Sometime in the future I would also like to do Day and Coastal skipper yacht sailing . I do know some basic navigation and do read through my pre course books in Order to get a starting knowledge, , but don’t currently own a boat .

@@getlostboating How I can get for Veraval, India? Can you please help me in this regard?
@getlostboating Жыл бұрын
@@dr.bhavikvakani6724 you need the book “Indian Tide Tables” which is published annually by the Surveyor General of India. All the data is in there
