@W4EEY Another update for you Gary. My radio is also able to transmit on all of the NOAA frequencies as well. I haven't heard back from TIDRadio about this issue. When I do, I will let them know about this as well. And I will follow up with you in another e-mail. I suspect it may be a firmware update that is needed. FYI, I updated to the latest firmware prior to finding these issues out. It's currently HAM_240606. Since you have an older firmware, this may be why you are not having the issue I am. Thanks for this video! BTW, this radio is really good. It receives well. It transmits well. It sounds good. It's lightweight and small. And it's cool looking. I got the Crystal version. Very affordable and good quality. And so far, their support has been quite good.

The RF out meter on the radio display may show transmit out of band, but it actually is not. Trust the external meter, not the display.

Yours is unlocked for all. All radios are the same and can easily be changed. There are no GMRS Specific versions that I have seen.

Here is the GMRS version on Amazon: amzn.to/45N4DUH I mentioned that the radios can be changed from Ham to GMRS to Unlocked. For new Hams I want to recommend the Ham version only. Thanks for commenting. 73 de W4EEY

@@W4EEY You seem to be the only channel I've seen that makes this distinction and does not show the fact that all the radios are the same and easily changed. I bought the GMRS version (Have tickets for both) and changed it.
