I've had both, electric, and gas water heaters. I prefer the electric. I've even had an element go bad, and it's easy to replace, so it's elect for me. Love seeing Maverick helping Dad. So glad you waited till he was interested. He is in that stage of hand, eye coordination now, and is wanting to do what Dad does. So exciting to have the new bathroom ready. I can hardly wait to see what you've done. We raised 4 kids in a one bath house, and we're still alive. Everyone had a dresser in their room with a mirror and all their hair stuff and makeup etc. So they got out of the bathroom after bathing, and did the rest in their room. They shared rooms, and we parents slept in the living room, using armoires as closets. It all worked out. Your work is beautiful, and well explained. I love these kinds of videos. This old gal has done over a few houses too. Living small now and loving it. Thanks for all you wisdom.

It is your house and you can make it the way you want. and i love that little man is trying to help out it is always good to teach the young ones how to do things and spend time and make time to show them how. I just want to applaud you for letting your kids help. And not just help but do! That’s awesome. There are so many kids (and by kids I mean all ages up to 20+) that don’t know anything about appliances or utilities. That’s why good contractors are hard to find. They can replace but not repair or troubleshoot. Great that you are getting your little guy excited to learn and do!

I love how tidy and proper everything you do gets. I have seen people making their own little solutions when they have renovated their homes and it has sometimes been more scary to watch than terror on elm street! I also love how Maverick is so good at helping! He definately has the right handle/skills for handywork even though he isnt that big yet!

Maverick is growing up by leaps and bounds, gaining knowledge and with that confidence and personal value as he worked safely with his father. An excellent display of father son workmanship, showing how working together can strengthen family bonds. Overall, this is a great show of family teamwork as you clear out the decay and neglect and build better in your current home. It also shows how much hard, dirty and messy work is needed to get a house fitted out.
