Hello Norvise fly tiers! Here's another great video from Norvise featuring Norm Norlander tying the Pheasant Tail Nymph. Norm will share his tips in this step-by-step video to create a beautiful fly. I've just purchased your Norvise and the fine point jaws and the gallows tool. I'm like a kid in a sweet shop and can't wait to try it out when it's delivered. Excellent videos and a superb product.

Norm, I just want to say how much I enjoy watching and even listening to your videos. I would recommend that anyone who has lots of stress to listen to your videos, as well as watch, because you have a very calming voice. On another note, I have your vise, along with other attachments, and bobbins; and I can say they are fantastic!!! To others considering buying a Norvise, I read someone's previous post in which they said they had called Norm's offices and that he personally took their call; and how helpful he was. I decided to do the same and I must say he is one of the nicest persons I have ever spoken with. He was very helpful and even advised me that if I was considering buying a vise and bobbins, that I should act quickly because prices were going up soon. I decided to go ahead and buy the vise, the fine point jaws, 3 bobbins, 10 extra spool pack, and tying video. He saved me hundreds of dollars. I hope to eventually get the lighted magnifying glass attachment. So, if you are undecided as to buying the vise, or bobbins; give Norm a call, you'll be glad you did. He's the greatest!!! I am sorry Norm is gone. I bought my Norvise about 16 years ago and a better man representing his business does not and did not exist. Nor-Vise has gone down Hill since norm left. I could always speak to him on the phone about an issue I had and I never felt I was imposing. I know you are gone now Norm, but you have never left my heart.

I would never thought about using leather. Great idea but one question how thick the leather is or use. Next time when tying this pattern again try to use Krystal flash (black or brown) as a wing case and blend with the tail and legs just a few strand

i am just starting off and wonder if i should go for the best vine and have it forever or buy a cheaper one and possible up grade in a few years, what are the jaw size or could you recomend one for me as i seen several like yours , and really like how fast and great it would be to have one that spins. thanks.
