Yes, thank you... for me it is about the learning process and sometimes that comes in the form of noticing what did not come out as planned and then doing something different next time and yes I see it as helpful for others to show when it happens even to me ✌🏻🙏🥳😎

MrTieDye: You had to move the t-shirt into the screen shot a number of times with this video. More than usual. Can I recommend putting a square of another color on the table to help. Probably some tape a slightly lighter color than the table, maybe a light gray would work, so as not to disrupt the viewers concentration. Your videos are wonderful. I’m so grateful.

it is the same as the soda ash I soak in... I mix mine one cup of soda sh to one gallon of water and I fill my bottle from that bucket whenever it runs low.

I use Fiber Reactive Procion Mx Dyes. I buy most of mine from Dharma Trading Company, these are Professional Dyes and are long lasting. They work on natural fibers such as Cotton, Rayon, Bamboo, Hemp, Linen, and Silk. Here is a video on how to mix the dyes: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aXfNY2tviZt1jMk These are the base amounts to start with, personally, I use 5-6 tsp for 16 oz of dye.

whats the reason for letting it dry out prior to dying? (versus just dying it right away like normal?)
@dianaj15245 жыл бұрын
When you’re dying something that’s really thick a dry dry shirt will soak up more dye and wick it to the middle so you’re less likely to have white spots where the dye didn’t penetrate. A damp shirt acts as a resist in this instance because a wet/damp shirt can only hold so much liquid so the dye may not make through all those layers of fabric.
