Thank you - I'm glad you are enjoying them! This hoodie was a size 3X and so it took quite a bit of ice to make sure I had it covered really well. T-shirts don't take as much ice, but hoodies take quite a bit of ice and dye.

You are ABSOLUTELY one of my FAVORITE & one of the BEST (if not THEE best) ice dyers on KZbin! What sets you apart from EVERY other one from what I see is how you show us the names of all the colors on top of the lids that you are using AND swatches! I am extremely organized so much that I "prt sc" those swatches/lids & the finishing product then paste it into Paint as a future reference. That way I don't have to write down the color names and then, in case I forget what the exact colors look like in the end, having to go back to your video to look and see if I want every color or to add more or less of a certain color(s)! I do have one question... Did you leave the hoodie right side out because it is so thick, and you'll get better saturation then? Thank you VERY MUCH for sharing all of your techniques and color recipes! YOU are AMAZING! Stacie (Youngstown, Ohio area)

I have a camo ice dye brewing right meow in my shower I will let you know in the morning after work when I rinse it if it looks like puke. It's only greens without browns, I want to try one with greens tan and brown. I love it already and green is my least favorite color

Yes, it should work just fine. I believe Hanes makes an 80% cotton hoodie which dyes up really well.

Do you have to use soda ash

Yes, the dye type that I use (fiber reactive dye) requires soda ash to raise the pH so that the dye will properly bond with the fabric.
