I think this pattern would lend itself neatly to one of your famous rainbow dyes!

Thank you this was a new way to tie dye I had not seen before and I loved the results.

I think the colors are beautiful. I haven’t tried the powder dye in the bottles yet but it did look much easier to apply than with a spoon.

I find it interesting how the dye placement is similar, but with the different medium the outcome looks drastically different. You mentioned doing it with HWI. It would be interesting to see the outcome on that one side by side.

ANOTHER missed video from 2 months ago, I sure was slacking! I love the shirt, fold and colors. But, what's so interesting about this tutorial is the dry dye in bottles! It looks so much easier than using a spoon. Makes me think if I start dyeing, I want to make a set of dry dyes in bottles because I like the ice dyeing method. You needed an electric blanket even tho it was in the house? Hmm...I like the picture from your dye table. I do love the color combinations. Yes, I would like to see HWI with the dry dye bottles.

Cool shirt. It looks different than the last wig wag you did but it still looks good.

It’s beautiful Steph. The center draws you in and then it’s like rays of light radiating out. It doesn’t look like a wig wag. I like the lesson here which is how much dye placement and different methods influence the end results. Thanks for sharing and inspiring. 💜

Did you ever do this one in purple and green? I remember you saying that was a favorite color combo. Nice shirt btw

I love purple and green! Not this pattern but in a variation I did. It turned out pretty cool. ♥️🌈 kzbin.info/www/bejne/nXbOXohtl6drnq8si=lzpDCOj5-d05GMr6

Ice dye wig wag, sounds about right, Steph. I think your shirt is really cool looking and I love the idea of applying the dye powder with a bottle. Thanks for sharing. :)

I love it! It's almost spiritual. Like I want to light some candles. I like that design and the colors you used. I do like the powder in the bottle. Looks like less dye is lost.

Good morning Steph it has the beginning of a Wig way but you’re right it changes into something else but I like it and I have been adding a teaspoon of extra dye in my bottles also and sometimes I can just tell when I’m spraying it it’s just not going to be dark enough and I’ll add a little more but you know what it’s still not using anywhere near of what it would have if it was a liquid dye. Good call on adding the liquid robins egg at the end I haven’t thought about that yet duh 🤪. Thanks again for yet another shout out and and sharing your knowledge with us. PS have you watched Grace and Frankie on Netflix it’s pretty funny❤️😁✌️

Hey Steph! I do like this shirt and thanks for answering a question I had not yet asked! I was wondering if the dye bottles could only be used for HWI, as I'm not ready for that yet!! I bought the bottles but hadn't yet mixed them because I wasn't sure it could be used with ice dyeing and that mainly what I do now. Again, love the shirt. And yes, Greg does an outstanding job with the HWI shirts!!!!

Awesome Steph. Adding the liquid at the end was a good call I think. Was this on an incline? The purples have the flow look to them. Thanks for sharing Steph.
@BelladonnaDyesCo2 жыл бұрын
This was not on an incline but the pleats sloped from low to high. I think that created to flows. ❤️🌈

Great tutorial as always. Adding the liquid robins egg blue was a good idea. The colors are really nice but I don’t consider this a wig wag.

When you say that you don't want the rubber band to make it bucks, do you mean not to let it squeeze to hard and push the pleats out of alignment, or what exactly? Also, I didn't quite catch whether not liquid die would work well on this design. Thanks!

Do u have to cut the hole at the end of the bottle bigger? I've noticed that if I don't make the hole bigger the dye tends to cake up. Dharma dye is finer but grateful dyes and jacquard seem to cake up
@BelladonnaDyesCo Жыл бұрын
On some of the bottles I had to. It just depends on the consistency of the dye. ❤️🌈

I love the colors. Too bad more of the purple didn’t stick around because I think the combination is beautiful. I watched Bloodlines when it came out years ago and it’s so good. It’s a shame they didn’t get a 4th season. 🌀💗🌀
