Thank you so much! You can't judge a tie dye until it's been washed and dried. Some of the ones I thought were going to be too dark turned out being my favorites.

I love watching your videos. Great tips for folding and tying the heart into the geode. I can’t wait to get a utility sink again. Right now it’s the kitchen sink, which I’m not sure is the safest thing.

Ever save the excess dye and mix them all together to see if they color split?

No, once the dye has been exposed to the soda ash in the shirt it begins to react and won't be good for very long.

Would allowing the ice to melt with the shirt sitting in the sun mess up the processing?

No, you can place the shirt outside. I would cover the shirt though so that it doesn't sit in the direct sunlight.

This shirt is a Port and Company Ringspun cotton shirt. However, most of the time I use Gildan Ultra Cotton T-shirts.
