This doesnt read as fish scales to me, its in a different shape/ pattern, but its giving me GATOR scales instead and im in love with it!! Happy Accidents

It can stain but only for a few hours.

Dyes that stick well to cotton (cellulosic fibres) don't stick well to skin and nails (protein). Dyes for wool and silk (both protein based fibres) would stain a lot more.

@@alexismontez4230 @Chandye the one time I decided to tie dye without wearing gloves my hands were stained for at least a week and that is after about an hour of trying to get the dye off. My hands looked like a Smurf. I use Dharma fibre reactive dye, should I be using something different?

Tie dye an unstuffed build a bear skin and then stuff it. I will follow you and wait just to see that video.
