Leaving excess of lashing down strap unsecured creates a potential hazard on the road so this one is one of the ways to secure the remainder of length. Tie it up properly!

You wouldn’t believe how many trucks I still see with flapping straps behind 😂 shame I have no t*ts, maybe people would pay more attention these days 😆

@@Craneformers😂 your so correct I see not only plenty of flappy straps but also plenty of trucks using not enough straps or not strapped correctly and in poor condition,old faded, no blue labels. . Straps are cheap as chips there’s no reason to use poor equipment to do such an important job. In Germany no truck is allowed to have a strap older than a year old get stopped and you’ll have to replace them!We replace every strap on every truck once a year weather it’s damaged or not you can’t take chances with safety 👍

@@dsmithspecialisttransport2741 That’s how it should be. I remember in some companies I used to work some straps were older than my driving licence at a time, read 5-10+ years old 😆
