100% agree on this one, absolutely no shot that she's on the tier below Brandon Cutler, who literally does nothing. If they're going for gimmick, I get it, but Statlander is also true to her gimmick, and is actually a top wrestler in the women's division. Crazy

Shida should be lovely lovely from ending the longest reign of a champion ever, the 50 wins, and the best feud in the women's division currently with Deeb, and putting together the Japanese side of the eliminator tournament.

Shida gave every women on the AEW roster the matches of their lives in 2021 and is the gatekeeper to get women signed. She also has one of the highest winning percentages overall in the company besides Kenny Omega. She is one of the most important pieces in the company holding a whole division together for years now. It surprises me how underrated and undervalued she still is.

Based on the comments, I’m going to be upset by Shida’s placement. The fact is, Shida carried the womens division through DoN 2021, and gave Britt the best standard rules match of her life, and Britt hasn’t had a match as good or interesting since. She also had the series with Deeb which have been amazing matches. Her only real flaw is she CANNOT cut a promo with the same level of charisma as Ruby or Britt or Rosa, and that kills her realistically. She belongs in Lovely at a minimum. Shida deserves better.

Yes AEW is bloated right now, but hopefully they make good choices with signings/releases. WWE did a terrible job at exactly that, after having their own bloat issues. It's a good idea to sign as many as you can to give them a chance, but then you are supposed to keep the best and cut the chaff.
