I feel like a lot of people don’t love Frank because outside of the son of Neptune and when he got the blessing of mars and when he became praetors, he just faded into the background

Hii, there! :)))) Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I haven't really heard someone say that but I agree with you. Rick was able to make readers connect with Frank throughout The Son of Neptune because of showing memories and many moments with Frank but it just lessened towards the end and to be honest, the series became more plot oriented from there which is why we sort of lost that connection with Frank. I guess it doesn't help that Frank was jealous of Leo in the Mark of Athena and Leo is a fan favorite which would've made some readers dislike Frank just because Frank doesn't like Leo.

Personally,I’d rank Calpyso a lil’ bit lower just because I feel like she shouldn’t have gone with Leo. Like many people rly like the idea of Leo learning to love himself and I agree. In fact I wouldn’t mind if she was a Hunter of Artemis!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts! Personally, I found Leo and Calypso's relationship was rushed and to be honest, I have mixed opinions about them together. So seeing your idea of Calyspo being a hunter is actually a great idea that never crossed my mind. I mean, it would be sort of poetic to do since Zoe, her sister, was once a part of the Hunters too. Lastly, I really like the idea of Leo's self growth instead of getting paired of with someone because it is more fitting to his character. Leo's perspectives in the Heroes of Olympus show that he's trying to find himself after being traumatised from his mother's death and it makes sense for him to do that after the series.

so theres the thing, last time we heard of leo and calypso, cal was at band camp staying a little distant from leo. i firmly believe their story is not done and rick may write something similar to the sun and the star but about caleo. because he kinda left us at a cliff hanger

That is an interesting take and I like that idea! If Rick did really want Leo and Calypso to be endgame, a book dedicated to them could develop thier relationship more. :)))

Ik this is a late comment, but hear me out- (Side note i dont like Octavian but... Just bear with me here, sorry) Octavian could've been a great character, when everyone started disliking him for whatever reason, Rick just made him a bad kinda guy because everyone hated Octavian. I would like to have him get more character development and frankly he deserved a bit more. He was just trying to protect the legion. Yes he made bad choices, but he died in the end anyway.

Dude I think once you’ve dated for a while and maybe fallen in love you’ll resonate with calypso’s story more. It was a lot more sad to me as an adult, and I totally would’ve stayed with her and said F the titan war if I was in Percy’s shoes 😂 (I haven’t read trials of Apollo yet)
