Hey Lego Maniacs! Today we'll be comparing 4 very detailed and different AT-TE's made from 2003 all the way to 2022...
Thanks for watching and as always let me know what you'll think, along with which AT-TE walker is your favorite? And may the brick be with you... always

The 2022 version is the most beautiful because it is the first AT-TE I have. ;-) However, I still like the choice of minifiguress the most in this version. Clone troopers are great.

Its a pretty good, one of the best imo, also good to have a bunch of clones with a AT-TE

I think a compromise of builds between the 2023 and 2008 sets would be ideal. The 2023 set should really be $100 given how dense the build is while still only being less 1100 pieces. I feel like its so detailed it becomes messy looking while the 2008 has its charm but has too large gaps. Additionally, I feel like Star Wars sets always skimp on minifigures. For a set of this size, there need to be around 13 figures (4 regular clones, 2 gunners, 1 pilot, 1 commander, 1 jedi, and 4 battle droids). Overall, I feel like that the 2008 set is great and the best one by far. The 2023 set could have been great but it is just too expensive for its calibre, its an archetypical $100 set but Lego fumbled the bag.

I have the 2003 and 2022 ones. I find it interesting how much, yet little has changed overall.

It is definitely surreal how when the first one of these (4482) was released in January 2003, many colors hadn't been introduced by Lego yet, or were not widely in use at that time. While the neon green (transparent fluorescent green) 1x2x3 wall elements on the cockpit are inaccurate, this set and a bulk bricks kit (4679) were the only times they appeared, while the 1x4x3 wall element in the same color was exclusive. Many of the Metru red (new dark red) elements in it also became rare in the following years, with the 1x1x5 brick in that color being retired in 2021. Though I didn't see your original review of the 2008 version (7675), it was one of the first minifigure scale sets to have the round plates on its feet in dark stone, having debuted in the UCS Death Star II (10143) and AT-ST (10174). It is still in use today, appearing most recently in the Avengers Quinjet (76248) released two monthes ago. The 3x12 shells in that color debuted in the 2007 version of Greivous' starfighter (7656) and were retired after a different Avengers set (6869) in 2012. In spite of their prevalence in the then-new Clone Wars film, this set's version of Anakin and Ahsoka Tano were almost exclusively seen in the larger sets from that wave. This was particularly true for Ahsoka, given that the least expensive of the five sets containing her (7751) was $40, and Anakin's Y-Wing (8037)-which also included her from June of '09 was $60 at the time of its release. The information about the 2013 and 2022 versions of the AT-TE are referenced in the comments of their respective reviews, if you remember.

The best part about the 2008 AT-TE is that it could be attached to the Republic Dropship!

And the best part about the Dropship is that it shares this feature with the 2010 Turbo Tank. I must say, I quite miss this type of modularity. It was used very briefly and never returned.
