Cloud & Tifa's romance was fun to watch play out. They were friends first, then it grew into something more. A story as old as time, eh? I always loved the contrast between Tifa's theme (soft, delicate and gentle), and her personality (all those things, but also fiery, courageous and loyal). She's an incredibly multifaceted character when you get down to it, and the remake is making me see how she's such a perfect compliment to Cloud. And speaking of "perfect compliments," who knew Chopin & this theme would pair so beautifully together? I think I'mma pour myself an iced tea and listen to it for a third time?😌

Tifa and Cloud both characters suffer serious trauma, but they managed it very differently, Cloud lost his personality and got really screwed up for life, and Tifa got more resilient and grew stronger with it. (TBF Being a lab rat of a sociopath for 4 yrs is pretty fucked up)

I always used to say that Uematsu's music resembles Chopin as nothing else! It's still very... his own. I mean, individual, creative. But you can sense inherent influence of Polish romantic music.

Really nice, Tifa's theme and Nocturne are both lovely. You did a great job of putting the Tifa's theme melody into 3/4, and I love that you went for some non-obvious, but far more interesting chords to put under the melody, such as at 0:32 (I think it's a G7 but my musical theory's not the best)

It's not a major plot point or anything, but if you go to her house a couple times in the game you get to play the piano which is said to be hers so I guess she at least played as a kid. (You can play notes and chords with the controller, it's kind of cute! and if you play a certain tune you get an item at one point.)

I love the melacholic nature of this theme... It captures the rather sad and hard chidlhood of Tifa. Chopin is a perfect mix for it, do you eerr, mix the songs yourself? How do you go about it, you try different songs in mind or you just know which ones would go well mixed?
