I've finally realized that it was only the electric bolts from the hand weapon that Loz used that fazed or rather tasered Tifa. That's why Loz had to throw the bench at tifa since Marlene was at tIFA's side, she couldn't side step and she had to break the bench to protect the child. Distracted Tifa couldn't react as Loz hid behind the flying bench and fast sneaked behind her and full blasted her then a second time to be sure. Tifa wasn't prepared, no armor, no weapons. Leather gloves aren't weapons.if Loz didn't have that weapon, Tifa's fighting skills would have either made the fight much longer or she could've won.

People nowadays don't realise how revolutionary this movie was when it came out - it was the first full length 3d anime movie and every animated scene in here is original and got copied by all the movies that followed, like the Matrix of 3d Anime. Truly a masterpiece and it's a shame that advent children got panned by 'professional movie critics' because they didn't bother to learn FF7 lore, This is an actual GOAT.

It's not Aerith's hair ribbon, but it is a red ribbon Tifa and all the other characters wear in remembrance of her. 🥲 And Marlene does wear a pink bow exactly like the one Aerith had (hair even braided and all) bc of Aerith. She only met Aerith for a very short time in the game, but liked her immediately, and Aerith clearly left an impact on the young girl. It was a sweet tribute to put in the movie.

@@makedate9338 I said what I think. The movie is awful. I watched it twice with all the later addons and I still think the same. I don't care what other people think, I have my own opinion. And I don't think I need to sugarcoat it for others to feel better about it. If you liked it, that's great! I wish I did too, but it's not the case. And the tone and design decisions play a huge part in it. They decided to go full Naruto, running and bouncing through the walls, from side to side, doing impossible acrobatics, hitting and exchanging meaningless hits in neverending coreographies just for the sake of looking "cool". It's become a trend but to me it's plain and gets exhausting very fast. I see no meaning and I'm certainly not impressed with this shots and acrobatics. And this clip is very light. Later on the movie gets so crazy it's all over the place. I don't remember the tone of the original game being like this. I didn't enjoy it and the plot is very bad, so I have nothing in this that I like. Kind of a shitshow to me. I don't think this is what the original game was offering to the world. I think this tone would've benefit something else, not FF7, but I respect it. Nomura jerked off so hard, this is what came out. I think it's trash, but people love it, so good that it exists.

I think the frame interpolation isn't very good here. The fast shots look very jarring and there's just not enough information to interpolate nicely. Good example is 2:34. Oof, almost made me puke there.
