I've played most mainline ff games and kingdom hearts I'm pretty familiar with his work and most of his designs after ff7 (aside from ff9 and 12 because he didn't work on those) were pretty ridiculous but that doesn't change the fact that they also look ridiculous in advent children. In fact I would go as far as to say that ff7 was the only good thing that Nomura ever did and after that he just went completely overboard in nearly everything that he has done since then. Imagine playing this as an episode in the remake as an epilogue.

Nah. I would be fine with dlc like that. Maybe even would be possible to go around a little bit, cuz it's like, near future to ff7 canon.

its crazy that back then everyone including myself thought "wow would it be cool to have a ff7 remake with these visuals" and then the remake we get is far better looking than this.

Love how he underestimates her then gets his jaw rocked. If only she had god hand equiped instead of leather glove. He'd have never gotten back up.

The taunt of Loz’s ringtone being the VICTORY melody 😂 you hear the victory music and instictivly go «yay» only for him to rise unscathed and you realize he was just toying

13 years ago, I thought that green electricity on Tifa's hands were her using some materia. Then now I realized it's from Loz's weapon. Makes sense because her punches didn't generate electricity... Dunno why I was that stupid. Probably coz I watched Monty's Dead Fantasy where Tifa did use materias.

It's been 27 years since the OG FFVII came out. It's been 18 years since Advent Children came out. It seems crazy to me that at the time I didn't realise FFVII had only been out 9 years as it feels like AC only came out like 10 years ago or something. I am old. I am very old.

Yup, they have some wonderful versions of the OG themes remixed in the film. I particularly love the take on Jenova's theme during the fight with Kadaj towards the end.
