Dhobhi Ghat is one of the best indie movies from Hindi film industry. I'd definitely watch this one in the theater.

The craziest thing is that RK Studios was making a similar story called Ghunghat Ke Patth Khol with Sridevi & Madhuri, about 2 wives that get swapped after an earthquake (as far as i can recall). Film never got made (obviously), but this story always stayed with me for decades!!

Aamir sir once said SRK sir plays safe he only chooses romantic roles but I think Aamir sir also chose only serious roles in which he has serious face 90% of the film like Raakh, Raja Hindustaani, 1947 Earth, sarfarosh, lagaan, Mangal Pandey, Ghulam, sarfarosh, rangeela, akele hum akele thum, baazi, Mela, rang de basanti, Ghajini, Talash, Dhoom 3, Dangal. I don't know why but aamir Khan sir brought unique stiffness to the character in dhoom 3, I can't understand y he is super serious in most of his movies but for this movie may be script demanded him, but from tap dancing to sahir's role his body was so stiff it made me uncomfortable to watch the movie, but Hrithik also played serious role he had brought lot of coolness in dhoom 2..
