This man is incredible. I am Autistic with ADHD, and his sensibilities and creativity just scream neurodivergence to me... Such an authentic creature, and I am beyond joyful to spend my time on earth with his art nestled in my heart.

been watching ALL interviews of him i find on KZbin, they relax me, fix my depression, I'm not a director student etc just like his movies but the way he talks and the things he says are incredible! makes me take a second look at life..... he exudes peace which is ironic, perhaps because he makes the evil become what is part of life in a sensuous way.... therefore this acceptance of uniting monsters and angels, good bad etc brings peace to me and in a way I can have fun while living

Really love what he's saying at the end, he doesn't care that his films aren't for everyone, he makes whatever he likes because it might speak to certain people. I am one of those people, I love his work and can appreciate the films that critics or general people couldn't understand well enough or appreciate.

+BJ Vynz He made one of the best films of all times, Pan's Labyrinth , it is one of the most beautiful films ever put on screen and everybody agrees , mostly everybody from critic to everybody who saw a film, it even has 90% on rotten tomatoes, is on 250 imdb and has 8.2 , not that it matters, and that i care, but even people who dont like his other films rate that MASTERPIECE OF CINEMA, AS EVERYONE OF COURSE SHOULD .

Guillermo is a reminder cinema can come from the heart, whereas today it seems all it comes from is boardroom discussions.

Señor Del Toro is very honest for an eminent film Director/ Producer. I sense he is quite correct in observing the way audiences now receive, process and use cinematic images.

Guillermo is so quotable, eg: "The receipt from the supermarket and the complete works of Shakespeare will be in the same layer of chalk". Great stuff.

At least 2 hours too short. Long live Totoro-san. May our chalk rest in eternity in some ambiguous layer with Shakespeare and grocery receipts.
